Nothing says “future of work” like five colorful beans staring at your job description 😅

The interesting economic question is less autonomy itself than the organizational effect: if agents can reliably execute across firms, does AI become a substitute for coordination costs rather than just a substitute for labor?

In light of the recent rogue activity of agents from this company and others this makes me a bit anxious.

And @bot ?

Why is the media constantly just framing things the way these companies want them to. A real journalistic outlet would call this when it is: surveillance, among other things

The hard part for enterprises won't be capability, it will be identity. An always-on agent across Slack, Teams and the CRM is in practice a new employee with access to everything its user sees. Who issues its credentials, and who reviews what it did overnight?

AI that chases your goals across apps on its own. We wanted assistants, we are getting employees who never sleep.
