Borderlands 4 Performance Summary in 2 minutes: 0:00 - Native Res Badass Settings the game runs bad 0:30 - Upscaling Performance Mode Badass Settings, the game barely manages to hit 60FPS 1:20 - Frame Gen turned on and now you have 100 FPS Some people will turn all these settings on and be happy with it but in my honest opinion these are used as crutches to make the game look as if it performs good. Borderlands 4 has a certain art style that doesn't look like it needs these kind of settings to be turned on to play at a high framerate but sadly it does and you can defend this if you want but the future of gaming looks bleak, using this tech to not optimize the games further will just result in input latency increase as every game will be delivered with frame-gen turned on in the devs mind.

Battlefield 6 open beta runs up to 55% better fps on PS5 Pro vs PS5 in performance mode, while also having "substantially better" image quality using PSSR and higher average resolution too. Meanwhile, Metal Gear Solid Delta runs fairly poor on both consoles. But while PS5 Pro's performance mode runs at PS5 quality settings, plus better GI too, embarrassingly it has worse overall framerate performance and worse image quality (though IQ is better in motion). Konami didn't even send Digital Foundry Series X/S codes, so that could be a doozy too lol. Simply changing your iPhone from Spatial Audio to Stereo Audio isn’t enough. 💡Before recording: Lock your camera settings. This let in less light and helped the camera focus so it locked at a good focus and clarity. Exact settings from Tampa Day 3: iPhone 17 Pro Max, 1TB - Normal Camera app (no special apps needed. I tested Rust vs Javascript for games 🎮 I had this question recently and decided to port my Three.js game to Rust Desktop I'm still not able to reproduce the same look on both games but I believe that codewise they are very similar With both games running, the Rust version averages 37FPS while the Three.js version averages around 20FPS If I'm running one game at a time the FPS goes up considerably (60 FPS on both with power on) So the Rust version for Desktop has 85% increase in performance on my Macbook Pro M4 This comparision is basically comparing Browser vs Native, which is not completely fair So that's why I want to port the Rust version to WASM on the browser and benchmark again soon

My very first preseason game was KD first year with Golden State. So, when we seen them, I’m like, “ooh wee” this is crazy. Mind you, I got to get to the arena 4 hours early because we got 20 guys trying to make the team. So, I’m at the arena at three o’clock. The game don’t start till 7. I don’t get in till the third quarter. It’s nine o’clock. I got to pick Steph up full court soon as I check in, I’m like “Damn.” We go to LA and this the bullsh*t with the NBA. We go to LA and we playing the Clippers, CP3, Blake, Lob City. We play the Clippers. So, I’m chilling. I be having like Jolly Rachers and sh*t in my socks I was on some dumb sh*t I’m chilling. I’m looking around. They start to draw the play up to start the game. Like, hold on. I’m starting? Y’all weren’t gonna tell me. Boom, I’m starting and I’m like, “Oh sh*t I’m trying to get ready. Chris Paul had me goddamn running. I’m looking for the screen this way, he going that way.” He must have had 14 assists at halftime. He wasn’t even shooting. The most I’ve been on my feet in one day… possibly ever 😅 So much STANDING. Was there for over 7 hours, on my feet for at least 6 of those… and only managed to walk 8K steps while I was there 😂 It was such a blessing to meet so many cool people.
