Gemini looks good on initial impression but I feel like I have way more to work with opus here (opus also did light/dark mode and took a quarter of the time to make it).

Opus 4.6 vs Gemini Pro 3.1 (7/9) I wanted to do a physics simulation test, overall both models did a good job in this department, however Opus added nice animations to things like "Fan", "Magnet" whilst gemini just rendered them out as a red circle. Opus also included way more effects in its toolbox, like rocket, connecting shapes with rope, springs etc. Should note that in all of these tests, Opus one shotted all of them, whilst gemini took an extra 3-5 prompts to get the project compile :) prompt: Build a polished physics sandbox toy using React + Vite with a real physics engine (Matter.js or Rapier), where users can spawn, grab, throw, and connect objects with springs, hinges, and ropes, plus interactive gadgets like fans and thrusters.

Opus 4.6 vs GPT-5.4 (High) (6/9) Testing out how well these models to with cloth physics simulation, and honestly both where pretty close here but my god I am shocked how good GPT 5.4 is with optimizing this scene whilst opus 4.6 felt quite janky and lower fps. GPT 5.4 also got the cutting working properly whilst Opus was just floating about. A fully functional 20 page dashboard created with Gemini 3.1 Pro inside Google AI Studio 🔥 It did not take a day or even half a day. It took me less than an hour to complete it in 17 total iterations. The UI design is inspired by Salung Prastyo and the rest pages were generated entirely by Gemini following same design system. Huge UI design boost by adding this to my AI workflow 1. Explore variations with Variant. The secret is to use "shuffle layout" and "see other views". This keeps the essence of a design that I like, but gives interesting layout variations. I also change colors and explore narrow by specifying one or two things in prompt, like font name, UI style or light/dark mode. 2. Copy HTML and prompt with Gemini 3 in site builder. Fix minute details like fonts, icons, assets, intro/scroll animations, adaptive layout and make the whole thing functional. Include image references, button styles, code snippets and other components to keep things creative. Often, I see sites that have one cool thing, but the rest is super generic. That's because AI is especially good at being generic without continuously feeding specs. 3. Turn into a landing page by prompt adding new components/sections and connect/adapt new pages. This is the part where most people stop, but it's actually the easiest since AI is so good at reading existing code. "Adapt this {page code} for a {features, blog, pricing, login} page." Finally, set up SEO and custom domain name. Boom, you just shipped a pro-level site that doesn't look generic.

It's the state of the art model for editing photos with prompts I think It's just one button in Photo AI called [ 📝 AI Edit ] then you type a prompt in a JS prompt() window and just a few seconds later your edit is done Here I took an AI photo of myself, and then added 1000s of puppies to it with [ 📝 AI Edit ] and then turned it into a video with [ 🎞️ Make video ] Gemini 2 isn't perfect btw, the quality of faces reduces a bit with every edit. A short term fix would pressing Remix and then getting the resemblance back.

Stumbled on Vercel’s creative design team page and instantly fell in love with the design, animations, and micro-interactions. So I decided to take a shot at it, recreating the experience for a fictional company called Varxell, with my own spin on everything except the design itself + I didn’t touch any of their assets. Everything was hand-coded from scratch, and every single asset was recreated in Figma. It was a fun challenge. $How I created these landing pages with Gemini 3 from start to finish First, I start with the hero section. It includes the nav bar, eyebrow, headline, subheadline, cta, social proof and visual. I spend 50% of the time here because it sets the colors, typography, spacing, which AI uses for the rest of the site consistently. “Create the hero section for my {app} called {name} in the style of {reference_site}”. Pro tip: use a screenshot and you’ll get way better results. Let’s get into the details. For icons, I prompt: “Use Iconify {icon set name}”. Most people use Lucide, but there are hundreds of open-source sets on Iconify like Solar, HeroIcons, Iconoir, Phosphor, etc. Just need to mention in the prompt. Same for custom fonts. Seedance 2.0 vs Gemini Omni, tested under the same conditions 👀 I was working on a new storyboard. After generating it with Seedance 2.0, I gave the exact same prompt + storyboard reference + character reference to Gemini Omni as well.
