Meet Charles Mutiso, a Grade 3 pupil at Njiru Primary School. Charles is a child who should be sitting in a classroom, holding a pencil, learning how to write his future. Instead, he is walking from market to market, alone. Charles is suffering from a severe skin disease that has painfully deformed parts of his body. Out of fear that the condition might be contagious, teachers sent him home. Since then, no one has followed up. No doctor. No treatment. No return to school. Just silence. His parents are divorced. His mother, Veronica Akinyi, struggles on her own. His father is absent. With no stable care, Charles now spends his days roaming the streets sometimes playing, sometimes collecting plastics. Imagine a child in pain slowly getting used to that pain. Imagine a child who still wants to be in school, but poverty and neglect have locked him out. This is not just a sad story. This is a child slowly disappearing in plain sight. Takhroj Al tawjihi (high school graduation) is a big deal in Palestine, let alone when you study and graduate during a genocide. From no lights in the evening to bad internet, students in Gaza did the impossible to finish their high school degrees. Support students: The Refaat Alareer Camp is no different from other camps in Gaza today with the tawjihi celebrations. Tears of joy and sweet distributions when the students got their grades but also remembering and dedicating this moment of joy to our martyrs. This celebration is a reminder of hope, of a future for these young men and women. Dreams of going to university and being a part of rebuilding Gaza in a liberated Palestine. Support now: A person with disability in a genocide is extremely difficult as there are no accessible toilets, no pavements, no proper transport, and more challenges. So let alone if you had to handle that and also get water and food daily for your family! The Sameer Project wants to get Sameeh with a wheelchair to make his life easier. That would help him when getting water and also achieve his goal of going to the mosque more regularly. Wheelchairs are not easy to find as barely any get in and prices vary accordingly but we will do what we can to secure a wheelchair. And we will also provide food supply to the family. Thrilled to share a milestone from the Webbie Social family! Today we wrapped up our “Backpacks for Kids” charity event and handed out over 300 backpacks filled with school supplies to kids in need. It was a fantastic day with free haircuts, face painting, and activities to help them start the school year right. This is a perfect example of how the power of both digital and traditional communities coming together can create something amazing. And this is just the beginning, stay tuned for more initiatives like this in the future.

There are NO TOILETS at all in this school in Gaza with over 2,000 students, support here: A school was set up in Nuseirat in a half demolished building. This school started with 50 students and overtime grew to 2,300 students who rotate in morning and afternoon shifts. To provide a toilet unit with 2 toilets, the cost will be around $7,500 with 11% commission and probably another $500 for plumbing and transportation costs. Originally from Ghana, Apraku was known for his kindness and positive attitude toward students. After he mentioned wanting a Jeep one day, the students started a GoFundMe and raised over $20,000 to buy it.
