I thank our partners and Mark Rutte that the PURL initiative exists and is functioning – contributions were made this May. There will be contributions in June as well. Today, we discussed how we can accelerate and expand deliveries under this key program. I also thank all our partners who are already working with us on joint production and helping with funding so that weapons production in Ukraine can continue to grow. We discussed with the NATO Secretary General several other things that could provide Ukraine with stronger long-term financial security guarantees. We will keep working on this at both the G7 Summit and the NATO Summit in Ankara. Sanctions against Russia. Our long-range capabilities. Financing for Ukraine. Our political cooperation. And our partners’ determination to help Ukraine precisely when help is needed – all of this sends signals to Russia that this war will bring it no results. We also expect that our partners will deliver the full package of air defense and other assistance to Ukraine – the very package agreed upon at the NATO summit in Washington this past July. Our Defense Minister has already held a series of meetings in France, the UK, and Germany. We are in constant communication with our American partners and highly value our cooperation with Italy. When decisions are made swiftly, Russia doesn’t have time to adapt, and we achieve especially valuable results. But we don't dream of peace at any cost, because then these three years will be in vain. We are fighting here not only for our land. We are fighting not only for our families. We are fighting not only for our state. The most important thing for us is values. Values pushed us to fight the enemy. The values of freedom, the desire to live in our own country, the values of being human beings, not slaves. Every day and every minute of this war, we have felt the support of the world, the support of Europe, the support of the West. And we want to say that we are grateful. We know this, but we ask you not to turn your back on us now, because we will not give up our freedom for nothing. We want normal, fair and just conditions of peace. We are a country that has always valued and will always value peace. Our peace can only withstand such aggression by force of arms. I know that 🇨🇭 is having a discussion about permits to re-export weapons to protect 🇺🇦. And I want every participant in the discussion to remember one fact: we are asking the world for weapons to make our 🇺🇦 territory a territory of peace again. All our land, all our people... Only for this! Exactly as envisaged by international law.

Today, Russian forces attempted to expand their operations against Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. We know the size of the occupiers' forces and their intentions. We need to strengthen our soldiers on the frontlines and bolster our shared positions. Now, at the team level, we will work with our European partners to fill each step of our plan to the fullest.
