Our warriors continue imposing long-range sanctions on Russian enterprises and facilities fueling the war. An oil refinery was hit in Bashkortostan, approximately 1,300 kilometers from the front line. I thank the units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine... for their accuracy. In the Krasnodar region, warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Security Service of Ukraine struck the Afipsky Oil Refinery, approximately 400 kilometers from the front line. Mid-range strikes have also delivered results. To significantly restrict Russia’s oil industry is to significantly restrict the war. Russia’s war is essentially a function of oil, of gas, of all its other energy resources. ZELENSKYY: Today, I commend our Ukrainian units carrying out our long-range strikes and mid-strike missions. I thank all our warriors who make such Russian targets reachable, above all military and fuel logistics across temporarily occupied territory along coast of our Azov Sea. Our drones are already reaching deeper and deeper into this part of the temporarily occupied territory, and this is already reflected in fuel shortages in Crimea. Unmanned Systems units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine deserve recognition for their deep-strike operations. Russian Tu-142 aircraft were successfully struck, along with Iskander system. There were hits on oil facilities as well: by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Rostov region and by Security Service of Ukraine in Krasnodar Krai. This is what truly impacts Russia's capacity for aggression. And Russia could have ended this war with peace long ago, but instead it itself chooses to prolong and expand it.
