Technology doesn’t advance by default. People have to build it, break it, learn, and try again. This is what that work looks like

All true. But let's not forget the guy that emptied his pockets at the beginning, eats, sleeps and breathes building things... and is the role model for all things American.

The future is shaped by people who are brave and hardworking, like Elon Musk.

Reverse landing rockets are not a thing, this is 100% CGI, no doubt about that whatsoever. 😎

It took 26 years from the advent of rolling luggage before the design of wheels on suitcases evolved into the practical, ergonomic product that travelers and airlines embraced. Before that, it was thousands of years of slaves and stevedores carrying your shit to and fro around the planet.

Anyone who has balanced a broomstick on his or her hand as a kid has been dreaming of seeing a rocket land itself upright. Thank you SpaceX! Well done!

Elon Musk: "They think that technology just automatically improves. It does not automatically improve. It only improves if a lot of people work very hard to make it better. If other people are putting in 40-hour work weeks and you're putting in 100-hour work weeks, then even if you're doing the same thing, you know that you will achieve in 4 months what it takes them a year to achieve."

Technology doesn't automatically improve it degrades if we don't fight for it People are mistaken when they think that technology just automatically improves. It does not automatically improve. It only improves if a lot of people work very hard to make it better Elon Musk reminds us that progress is fragile: - Ancient Egypt forgot how to build pyramids - Rome forgot how to build aqueducts - We went from the Moon in '69 to having no orbital capability for years We must reject the "anti-human" narrative that views humanity as a plague. We aren't a disease to be cured we are the architects of the future If we want to be a space-faring civilization, we have to work for it every single day

President Donald Trump on Elon Musk today: "I know a lot of great business people, but you know they are not really very good people. Elon Musk is somebody that really cares for the country. He's a very different type of character. He's a very good person."

Elon Musk: Lots of hard work followed by death is usually what happens when people start companies. “The reason I say starting a company is like eating glass and staring at the abyss is that in order to make a company successful, it requires doing a lot of painful work, work that is not fun, working very long hours, and then, maybe your company survives, maybe it does not. And the vast majority of startups fail. Lots of hard work followed by death is usually what happens when people start companies. That's why I say if people need words of encouragement to start a company, they should not start a company.” WELT Economic Summit, January 28, 2025

Trump: You have some vaccines that are so amazing. The polio vaccine I think is amazing. A lot of people think that covid is amazing. You know. I think you have to be very careful when you say that some people don't have to be vaccinated. You have vaccines that work. Just pure and simple they work. They're not controversial at all. And I think those vaccines should be used otherwise some people are going to catch it and they endanger other people. And when you don't have controversy at all, I think people should take them.

🚨TRUMP: "Elon Musk attracts very young people with high IQs. Some people attract very beautiful people. I think I like them better. But Elon attracts young people that are brilliant and love the country. The trait they all have is that they are extraordinary with computers. He said they make love to their computer, I said I don't want to hear about that. So when they go into some guy thats ripping off the country, they can't be bullshitted."
