She wrote a Guardian article titled "As a parent and a Conservative, I know that banning social media for under 16s is the right thing to do" back in Jan 2026 arguing parents can’t do it alone and the state needs to step in. Good Morning Britain this month, she’s defended the government’s ban while explaining her own strict rules for her kids (no social media, phone curfews, etc.). If The Tories think kids can’t handle social media, how on earth can they consent to irreversible puberty blockers? Both parties have been inconsistent on protecting children from adult decisions.
