As someone who has had this surgery, I was not awake for it. The doctor even suggested anesthesia for the procedure. Surgery is pointless, as you will still experience flare ups.

Worst pain of my life was my pilonidal cyst. I am a) hairy and b) clean yet didn’t know what the heck it was until too late. It became infected and the pressure was so intense and sat on all the nerve endings at the base of my spine. I’ve broken my ankle, had multiple concussions, nothing, NOTHING compared to that pain. If you think you have one get that ish checked out and closed before it’s too late.

Smells fucking awful when they get drained too.

Lol it's called a pilonidal cyst, not sinus. I had one when I was 24. Wouldn't recommend it.

I actually had a pilonidal cyst a few years back, it's pain in the ass (yes, pun intended). Out makes it damn near impossible to sit down properly when out swells up. Also annoying as fuck when it drained on me before I got it surgically dealt with. Ruined clothes like you (1/2)

Been through multiple surgeries. It was hell. If anyone wants any guidance related to this please dm me I'll try to help as much as I can. And those who saying it popped and healed it self, it doesn't work like that. It's still infected.
