Tesla has released a video of the new Zen Grey interior from Giga Shanghai built Model Y Premium trims. The White interior has been discontinued. With Zen Grey, the following trim pieces are no longer black like they were in the white interior: • Arm rests • Door grab handles • Center console arm rest & side console trim • Trim around wireless charging area

Tesla is able to integrate technologies better than any of the competition. Manually plugging in an autonomous Robotaxi doesn’t feel like the future. Cybercab is charged strictly wirelessly, there is no charge port. Tesla says their wireless charging technology is well above 90% efficiency.

Tesla's new wireless charging technology is made in Germany 🇩🇪 The inductive charging pad that Tesla recently unveiled is based on technology from a German startup called Wiferion (formerly Blue Inductive) 👏🏼 “With an overall efficiency of over 93%, the systems based on etaLink technology are leading” - according to a press release from Bonn-based seed investor HTGF, which invested in 2017. 💪🏼 Even Marques Brownlee couldn't believe that 😉 He commented under a Tesla post that contactless charging could achieve a maximum of 75% efficiency. I'm curious to see who will be right in the end. But I think it is save to say, that after Tesla Automation (formerly Großmann), Wiferion was yet another smart purchase of a German company from Tesla.

SMOKE ONBOARD SWISS A330 TRACED TO DAMAGED EARBUDS CHARGING CASE SWISS says the smoke event that prompted the diversion of Flight LX16 from Zurich to New York JFK was caused by a wireless earbuds charging case that became lodged inside a passenger seat, where it was damaged and overheated. The airline is reminding passengers that lithium battery safety is a shared responsibility. Power banks must not be used or charged during the flight and must be kept in the passenger seat pocket, or in hand baggage under the seat. The aircraft involved was Airbus A330-300 HB-JHK.

Projects just like this one are key in our plan to grow our economy and reduce emissions in order to achieve a Net Zero 2050. Our Government has a plan to significantly increase the number of public EV charging pointsacross New Zealand, with a goal of having 10,000 charging points ready by 2030. It’s important we do this to give Kiwis the confidence to purchase EVs to alleviate range anxiety and know that the charging infrastructure is in place.

Experienced the new Galaxy S26 Ultra at the #GalaxyUnpacked event in Delhi thanks to Samsung India Big highlight is that Privacy Screen, it's implemented very well, can switch it on/off, selective blocking etc. S26 Ultra feels a lot lighter to hold, has to be best weight balanced Ultra till now. Now supports 60W wired charging & 25W wireless. I'll try to post my quick first impressions video by tomorrow evening.
