can you made a relatively solid core (still soft, but firm) but then a more slippery softer outer layer? kinda like a slimy thing that flops down and the outer part will drip down What if the core was yellow-orange and the outer layer was white/transparent ?

Yes, it's possible to adjust strength of the interaction force to imitate real objects, also change the color of the particles.

Can it do shapes that stick together and move like one? Like the worm you made. But say... Like something with 4 legs? 2?

Implementing bodies with legs would require adding bones, that interact with the soft matter. Purely soft bodies might not work well as legs.

Neither, it's closer to SPH. Particles affect each other velocitiess by forces. Also, there's little velocity exchange for viscosity. And there's no grid to compute forces.
