Learn to play defense, it’s really simple. You only need two defensive roles: one covering high, and one covering low and the pass. If your opponents are capable of going into the air, then covering the backboard should be your main priority. A good rule of thumb is that if you are near post in defense, you cover the backboard, and your teammate at far post covers low and the pass. This is absolutely the right advice Too many people come into the corporate workplace thinking they are a rebel and will change how things work The reality is that if you want to get ahead, you need to play the game that has been laid out You can opt out of the game if you wish and follow your own path Maybe once you are senior enough at the MD or PM level, you can try to change the culture But until then, learning to play it is your best bet of moving ahead in your career

Every working parent’s nightmare! You have to work. It’s the only way your family can survive, so you have to put your child in daycare. The licensed facilities that are supposed to keep your child safe while you work, but do they? What makes this even worse is that the daycare providers didn’t tell the parents what happened. A friend sent mom a FB message and that how this nightmare began. How would you have handled this? Personally, I believe the parents were a lot more calm and accommodating than I would be. I can assure you this would not be the end of the story if this were me.
