More than 95% of adults use cotton swabs for aural cleaning. Assuming hundreds of millions of insertions daily across the global population, if the danger narrative were mathematically accurate, emergency departments would collapse under the volume of ruptured eardrums.

So his wife was the inventor, then he perfected it lol

But look how they wimp out now with just moderate use! The paper shaft used to be MUCH stronger.

I use them to clean my ears every day and my doctor says I have some of the cleanest ears she’s seen, soooo, I’m not sure I understand how people are making their ears worse unless their ears are already nasty as hell

Every time I go to the doctor, they look in my ears. It’s all good.

My old fashion bamboo ear wax remover works fine. You can find them on Amazon or ant Asian Apothecary stores.

My ears are clean, it’s the moisture in my ears that I use them for. Swab it around and by the end of it my cotton swab is cold and wet

I use them to clean resin from my pipe after soaking them in isopropyl alcohol lmao

Some of the most successful products won by accident customers ignored the instructions and found a better use

It totally safe if you use it to clean the other ear. It's only idiots who ram it down the ear canal like they're punching the bore of rifle with a jag that injure their ear drum.

So what do people use before this invention I'm curious

I am specifically dumb 🤣🤣

Wow, who knew misuse could lead to success? What's your favorite unconventional success story?

Yeah yeah, they shove earwax further in, but sometimes you have an itch in your ear, and your finger is just too big to scratch it. They need to make a sand papery version tbh.

Yeah you can puncture your ear drum if youre retarded

Baby Gays. 😂😂😂

@n_r_c

I use the to absorb moisture in my ears after a shower and clean the external folds of the ear. No where near my ear drum

BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO JAB IT INSIDE YOUR EAR EXCLAMATION YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO RUB IT ON THE OUTSIDE AND SLIGHTLY ON THE INSIDE TO CLEAN THE DIRT AND WAX. I HAVE USED Q-TIPS MY ENTIRE LIFE AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.

Use this every time for my ears, get an ear checkup yearly and they show me video of my ears wax less each time🥱

It only pushes the wax in if you let it build up. If you keep your ears clean it never builds thick enough to be pushed in and it sticks to the qtip and is removed!

So let me get this straight. Yall weren't using bird feathers before Qtips to clean out your ears? So.. just us?

So let me get this straight.... she used it on her babies ears, and then it was sold to be used on other babies ears, but adults can't? Make it make sense. Also like someone else said, the math isn't adding up. Millions sold but none getting hurt? The Doctors are wrong I guess.

Thanks for the reminder! I’m going to go clean my ears with a q-tip now

Im waitin for the other products?

The smallest piece that is "allowed" to enter your ear (beside sound and air) is your pinky finger.

I like the wood ones not the stupid bending plastic ones now. I use them to clean machine parts.

Same with labeling cigarette pack 😂

Literally "Smokers are liable to die young" been ignored

It’s all about proper technique 🙂↔️
