Chicago Bears: The Deep Ball Façade As a Chicago Bears truther, I gotta keep it 💯 There are many Bears fans posting “Amazing” out of the pocket deep ball highlights of Caleb Williams Obviously, we don’t see those kinds of throws everyday. It’s insane!! But deep ball playmaking isn’t new to Chicago. Nor is it the focal point of Ben Johnson’s offense. If the Bears are going to be great, we have to become more efficient from the pocket. Pass percentage must go up, time in pocket must come down. Living outside the pocket will hinder our ability to be efficient and to win a Super Bowl #1 Deep Ball was always there Justin Fields in 2023 had one of the most efficient deep balls in the league. Not only that, the majority of his deep balls came from the pocket which is what you want from your QB. As good as the Bears were as a whole last year, the deep ball was far more efficient in 2023. But living on the deep ball and living out the pocket comes with limitations. We have to focus on the fundamentals #2 Ben Johnson is the catalyst Similar to 2023, Bears offense in 2024 had explosive plays followed by inconsistent offense and inept situational football by the head coach Poor offensive line, poor offensive scheme, and inept head coach were the core issues. Ryan Poles thought QB was the main issue and then 2024 happened. We learned quick that it takes more than a talented QB to win football games. Ben Johnson has alleviated all of those concerns. He has made Bears offensive line the focal point! His scheme has been top of the league since he became OC in Detroit. And his situational football awareness far superior than Eberflus. Bears fans must recognize that Ben Johnson is the catalyst of the Bears offensive turnaround, and team success. Now give him what he needs! He wants 3 tight ends? Give it to him He wants more Luther Burden? Give it to him He wants more efficiency out of his QB? Let’s make that the focal point.. #3 Ben Johnson needs a point guard at QB Efficiency in the pocket, time to throw, and passing EPA are far more important to Ben Johnson’s offense than out of pocket deep balls. We need Caleb to be that killer still, but it’s the fundamentals that will allow Bears to take the next step. This offense doesn’t need a Michael Jordan at QB. Ben Johnson would much rather have an Isiah Thomas at QB because this offense has enough Bad Boys to get the job done. Feed the WRs! Get the ball out of your hands quicker! Allow deep ball to be the counter punch of the offense. #4 It’s all there.. The pre-snap awareness, post snap awareness, efficiency from pocket, and pass velocity all scream franchise QB. When you look at Caleb Williams in the pocket on short to intermediate passes, it looks effortless. The ball leaves his hand lightning quick, it’s placed where it’s supposed to be, and WR is able to make a play after the catch. We have to see more of this and it starts now. CW has to trust Ben Johnson’s offense and his WRs more. Conclusion: If we wanted a QB to scramble and throw deep balls, Justin Fields would still be a Chicago Bear What makes Caleb unique, is that he can be a hunter down the field but also has the upside to be a Drew Brees type of QB in the pocket. I rather see more clips of Caleb playing in rhythm and in the pocket , than deep bombs out the pocket. There will be struggles, but that’s ok. I much rather see our QB struggle making the right throws in OTAs than masking it with his gift as an out the pocket thrower.

Individual players and team stats are at an ALL TIME high in the NBA this year. Are players more “evolved” or that much better than before? No. This year alone, 9 players are averaging: 25+ PPG 5+ APG 5+ RPG From 1990-2001, this happened only 9 times: Jordan (5 seasons) Drexler (1 season) Barkley (1 season) Hill (1 season) Kobe (1 season) Many fans claim players are far more superior, but in reality, four factors are inflating stats: 1. Officiating: The NBA allows more leeway on traveling, and refs heavily favor offense over defense. Players are going to the line more than ever (according to free throws per drive data), while offensive fouls are at an all-time low. Defensive 3 in the key and removal of physical hand checking has made driving easier than ever. 2. Analytics: Eliminating midrange shots and forcing far more 3-pointers has spiked scoring. 3. Pace: About 9 more possessions per game than in the 1990s. 4. Heliocentric offenses: Superstars like Luka, Giannis, LeBron, and Jokic have the ball in their hands most of the game with full freedom to score or create, which was rare before. Artificially boosting such stars numbers. Nash talks about how he wishes his team took more 3s because the data shows they would have optimized their offense more. His Suns started this and now every team plays like them. Fast paced and heavy 3 point shooting. So next time some kid throws stats at you, show them this.. Guys HAVEN’T evolved they just have been optimized for maximum stats and Adam Silver has pushed for more scoring with refs favoring the offense ✌🏻 (credits JxmyHighroller YT)

🚨 Weigh in 21 🚨 ALL TIME LOW: 306 LBS FRANK HAS SHREDDED 220+ pounds Frank was 520+ pounds in 2016 (scale couldn’t go higher). Here is his monthly progress since we started Frank Walks (644 days in a row and counting): 383 pounds before walking daily Weigh in 1: 373 pounds Weigh in 2: 352 pounds Weigh in 3: 343 pounds Weigh in 4: 340 pounds Weigh in 5: 339 pounds Weigh in 6: 333.8 pounds Weigh in 7: 331 pounds Weigh in 8: 323.8 pounds Weigh in 9: 319.8 pounds Weigh in 10: 324 pounds Weigh in 11: 330 pounds Weigh in 12: 327.8 pounds Weigh in 13: 318.5 pounds Weigh in 14: 321.8 pounds Weigh in 15: 326 pounds Weigh in 16: 314 pounds Weigh in 17: 316 pounds Weigh in 18: 312.5 pounds Weigh in 19: 315 pounds Weigh in 20: 307.5 pounds Here are the results from weigh in 21: ◦306 pounds. FRANK HAS LOST 220+ POUNDS SINCE HIS ALL TIME HIGH ◦Blood sugar: A1C is 5.7% down from 11.1% (years of life expectancy 12+ 📈) I wish I had more details on his body composition but clearly he has turned loads of fat into muscle. We are focused on continuing to overhaul his diet and talk about it almost daily. I am sure I am annoying at times, but Frank needs to be pushed and challenged. If he is capable of completely changing his daily physical habits, he is capable of changing his diet. It has simply proven to be much more challenging. A couple of the biggest struggles are stress eating and discipline on boring days at home. Frank will crush unhealthy snacks after a Mets loss or if he is stuck in his house on a boring weekend with bad weather. He shot up to 315 this month but then locked in to close the month at an all time low. To anyone who makes food in the Belleville, NJ area, I am desperate to show Frank he has local options that cook both delicious and relatively healthy food. Same goes for anyone near MSG (lunch after walks). Frank’s energy, quickness, coordination, stamina, strength, flexibility, and confidence continue to increase with each passing step. Congratulations, Frank (even though I know you aren’t reading this). TANK299 feels imminent. Anudder weigh in in the books

Brayden Burries vs. Kansas 20 points (6/10 FG | 2/4 3pt | 6/6 FT) 12 rebounds 5 assists 1 steal 0 turnovers (I counted 1 turnover but box score says 0) Burries' defense really stood out to me against Kansas. He's a smart team defender with a high level of spacial awareness, consistently stunting and recovering, digging at ball handlers, and in the right spot in rotations. He does a good job staying in front of ball handlers and walling up around rim without fouling. Burries is just a really smart player on both ends. There were several instances of him setting his defender up and waiting until they turned their head or adjusted their position, and he quickly got down hill. I think there's potential for him to be able to attack the rim from a standstill without a screen. He showed a few pocket passes to bigs out of P&R, and I think he's quick and strong enough to turn the corner against most P&R coverages. He has good shooting indicators - 46.3% on 82 non-rim twos (78.9% unassisted rate), 8.1 3pt attempts per 100 possessions, and 83.5% on free throws on 79 attempts in 20 games against top 100 opponents (77.3% overall on 119 attempts for the season). Processing indicators are good too - 2.9 steal% and 2.1 assist to turnover ratio. Anecdotally, he may be the best player on a top 3 team in the country. Burries looks like a big time prospect, and it will be difficult for me to keep him out of my personal top 10. He's a bit of a tweener guard, but I think at worst he's a secondary creator with primary upside. I will be paying close attention to his athro measurements at the combine.

What I do have is … a 6’8 3&D forward. High motor. Unselfish. Excellent touch (38% 3PT, 84% FT). I stopped making highlight tapes and am more focused on Game clips that tell more of the story. This is for real basketball heads with vision and eye for development. But he’s ready to help a program NOW. 19 years old. All conference Potential as a defender. Notice in these clips how discipline he is staying in the ground vs. pump fakes… even with a FORTY-SIX inch vertical. No exaggeration. He is excellent in help rotations. Truly defends 1-5. But isn’t just a dumb athlete jumping all over the place. Gives 100% effort to run back in transition to alter shots. Will be the most athletic player on the team as a freshman. Speed and vertical Is an excellent cutter off the ball. 45 cutter and corner Lob threat. There’s no defense for a paint touch and throwing the ball over the square. If you have good guards he can account for 5 assists a game. His shooting is what’s most impressive to me. Has ability to be 40% 3pt shooter because of great shot selection.. mechanics and touch. Strong rebounder offensively and defensively. Also what makes him special is his ability to Guard other teams scoring point guards. He will win the matchup. I’ve seen him Shut down 4/5 stars all year Coaches interested in still taking freshman you won’t find one much better than him as far as adding him on to a good culture team and being able to count on him right away. 6’8 195lb with a frame To hold 205-210 next year. Casey Williams ElitePrepLeague Rashad Phillips Cory Underwood 🎓🤓🏀 x 🏀🧠📈 Dave's Joint Again.. these clips are from 1 game vs. a top 15 team in a 30pt win. Impact Player

“How can Kobe be Top 1-2 scorer all time he only has two scoring titles”. It’s because Kobe wasn’t the ball hog yall think he is and he sacrificed to WIN. Kobe’s scoring finishes each season between 2001 - 2013: 2001 #4 at 28.5PPG sharing W/Shaq 2002 #6 at 25.2 PPG sharing W/Shaq 2003 #2 at 30 PPG sharing W/Shaq 2004 #4 at 24 PPG sharing W/Shaq *Shaq leaves: 2005 #2 at 27.7 PPG 2006 #1 at 35.4 PPG 2007 #1 at 31.6 PPG 2008 #2 at 28.3 PPG AS SOON AS HE LEAVES SHAQ, 4 years in a row Kobe finishes Top 2. Kobe playing with Shaq held back averages and scoring titles because he had to sacrifice to feed Shaq and keep the big man’s ego up. 2009 #3 at 26.8 PPG 2010 #4 at 27.0 PPG 2011 #5 at 25.3 PPG 2012 #2 at 27.9 PPG (sat out last game/lost by .01) 2013 #3 at 27.3 PPG (34 Y.O. no signs of slowing) 2014 injury that all but ended his career Kobe finished #2 four times and Shared 4 of these seasons with Shaq. Kobe CLEARLY could have had more scoring titles but was focused on winning. He wanted teammates he could trust and share the ball with. Kobe wasn’t a stat stuffer like people think. If he was he would have kept “trash” teammates and won the scoring title every year. He had that 35PPG just to show you what he could do if he wanted. That 35 PPG hadn’t been done since Jordan pulled it off in 1988 and wasn’t done again until 2018 when Harden did it. No one else will probably do that for another 15-20 years. Few other reasons why KOBE IS A TOP 1-2 SCORER ALL TIME. All accolades accomplished in the hardest era of all time IMO: -Had 4-game in a row w/50+ PTS in 2007 recording: 65PTS, 50PTS, 60PTS, 50PTS -Had 9-game stretch of 40PTS in 2003 Had 6 60PT games (2nd all time behind Wilt) -Had 25 50PT games (3rd all time behind Wilt/Jordan) -Had 122 40PT games (3rd all time behind Wilt/Jordan) -Led the league in total points 4 times -Scored the most PTS in the 2000s with 21,605 PTS -Most PTS scored in a modern era: 81 PTS -4th in all time points with 33,643 -Most points for a shooting guard all time -Scored 60 PTS at 37 years old (record) Kobe was an elite scorer and was only stopped because of injury. And this is why all that “Kobe had only two scoring titles” means nothing in regards to how elite of a scorer he is. There is no one you can name besides MJ in the modern era that had the scoring peak, ability and stats that Kobe had when it comes to scoring. There’s no one that measures up. NO ONE. Don’t let the scoring titles fool you. Kobe was pretty much Micheal Jordan in a better era when it comes to scoring (MJ still the GOAT though).

What Makes an A+++ Setup (According to a $291K Trader) A setup is the specific market condition where all your criteria align for a high-probability trade entry. Most traders don't understand the criteria that makes a solid entry. They take every setup that looks "good enough" — and end up with 1:2 or 1:3 risk-to-reward ratios, grinding for small wins. Here's the difference: An A+++ setup allowed my student Said to make $86,000 in one day from just 3 trades (with 1:18, 1:7, and 1:10 R/R). And $291k over the last 1.5 years. If there’s a mediocre setup, he won’t take it. Some weeks he only trades twice because he's waiting for perfection. In the 2-minute clip below, my student Said walks through the 5 elements that must align for an A+++ setup: 1) Inverse Fair Value Gap — An imbalance price needs to fill 2) Inducement — Liquidity sweep that triggers early traders 3) Imbalance — Gap in price delivery that draws price back 4) Protected Level — Previous inducement + break of structure creates an internal floor/ceiling 5) Break of Structure — Confirmation that one side is in control Said also looks for setups where you have TWO protected levels, not just one. This gives him the confidence to enter at the end of the fair value gap without waiting for additional confirmation. Stop loss goes just below the protected level — tight risk, massive reward potential. — This is just scratching the surface of what Said shared. In the full 1-hour interview, we also dove into: • The exact 3 trades that made him $86K in a single day (with timestamped chart breakdowns) • How he combined two different strategies into one profitable system • Why he still backtests 1-1.5 hours daily even after making $100K/month Just comment "INTERVIEW" and I'll DM you the full interview in the next few minutes.

This is where a lot of tech professionals landing 6-figure roles actually get hired from. Not random job boards. Not even the usual “Easy Apply.” Here are 8 platforms that are genuinely high-signal for UX designers and tech professionals looking for fully remote roles. I also broke down what makes each one stand out, and how you should use them properly. 1. Wellfound (AngelList) URL: How to win here: Build a profile like a landing page (2 to 3 outcomes + 1 niche). Filter by salary range + stage. Apply to roles where your portfolio matches the product type. Message founder/recruiter with 2 lines: relevant proof + quick question. You will also need a USD account to receive salary, go to Cleva (YC W24) and open one. Best level: mid to senior (junior can still get something here with strong case studies). 2. Otta URL: How to win here: Set preferences tightly (role, level, industry, remote rules). Treat it like “high quality, low volume”: 3–5 strong apps/week. Tailor your first line of CV to match the job’s problem space. Best level: junior-mid to senior (works for all, but best when your profile is clear). 3. Y Combinator Jobs (Work at a Startup) URL: How to win here: Apply to roles where you can show 0→1 or growth-stage wins. Add a short “Operating style” section in your profile (collaboration, scope). Follow up off-platform (LinkedIn/email) with a 3-sentence note. You may also need a USD account to receive salary, go to Cleva (YC W24) and open one. Best level: mid to senior (but juniors can land roles in smaller teams with strong proof). 4. Himalayas URL: How to win here: Set location/timezone filters correctly. Save searches + alerts for your niche (e.g., B2B SaaS, fintech). Apply within 24 - 48 hours of posting when possible. Best level: all levels. 5. Remotive URL: How to win here: Filter to “worldwide” only if you truly can work globally. Don’t apply without rewriting your top 3 bullets to match role keywords. Pair every application with a short “proof note” (1 case study link + why). Best level: mid-level + seniors, but juniors can win with tailored apps. 6. We Work Remotely URL: How to win here: Apply fast (same day if possible). Use a “1-minute cover letter”: 3 bullets (domain match, proof, link). Only apply when you match 70%+ of requirements. Best level: mid to senior. 7. Remote OK URL: How to win here: Use strict filters (role + seniority + benefits). Ignore anything vague (“rockstar”, no salary, unclear company). Treat it like lead gen: apply + then research and follow up elsewhere. Best level: mid to senior. 8. FlexJobs (paid, but filtered) URL: How to win here: Only pay if you’ll apply consistently for 30 days. Use advanced filters and avoid anything without clear employer info. Cross-check listings on the company’s careers page. Best level: junior to mid (also useful for career switchers). You will need a USD account to receive salary, go to Cleva (YC W24) and open one. If you find breakdowns like this useful, Follow for more, I share more of them here. Don't mention.
