He was right but this is really just lip service from Reagan who also gave us “trickle down economics” and Rupert Murdoch. #RRWasATerriblePresident

Reaganomics sucked. Nobody cares what Reagan says.

while trickle down economics absolutely sucked, he was right about this - dismissing it is silly.

Here’s what could get more expensive with Trump’s new tariffs.

But but, these tariffs are different! They're not taxes! They're a little bit more tariffer than normal tariffs. These are golden age tariffs which are not available at most Walmart and Taco Bell locations. GOOGLE TARIFFS, BRO!

We're in a place where many find themselves agreeing with Ronald Fucking Reagan. Probably the greatest indicator of how far the American right is.

I believe, like many, Trump’s tariff strategy is part of a larger, long term, plan. But, if inflation and cost of living are up by mid terms, the Republicans may lose both the upper and lower chambers. Which would seriously impact his strategy.

Only in the short term. When you bring manufacturing back due to tariffs, then it benefits the working class significantly in the long term.

Give us a timeline since you have this all worked out. It takes 2-3 years to build a factory (up to 5 years to build a mega factory). It will then take up to a year for that factory to become operational. If that was Trump's plan why wouldn't he first invest in building factories in the USA and then tariff? What you're spouting is flawed and illogical - it's backwards. Biden literally was bringing manufacturing back to the USA with the CHIPs Act - giving incentives to companies to manufacture technology in the USA. What Trump is doing is going to kill small businesses right out of the gate.

He’ll read anything
