Rebecca Ferguson deserved an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for Dune: Part Two & I still really don’t understand why she never received more consideration. Ferguson’s transformation throughout this film is a big reason why Dune 2 was the best film of 2024.

Will have to respectfully disagree. The frequent, pointless whispering was irritating (was an issue in the first one too), and overall just not worthy of an Oscar nom. Really enjoyed the movie, though.

Because sci-fi always gets the short end of the stick in awards seasons. It’s just the way it is. Although, I truly believe that if Dune 2 had been released in October as opposed to March, things would’ve been different.
