These recent ffframes videos seem quite cool. But which model are you using ? Astra ? I tried with sol/luna and the results are not quite as clean.

really cool, i've been editing in something like mirage-hq/Tesseract now, should i just throw it out the window and try this? mostly ads/tiktoks/etc. agency work

Well don’t throw out your stuff, but try it maybe it works better/faster?

I mean it's close but his whole point is that you can't get that final 10% which is all taste. do u really not see/feel a difference between yours and his?

You should work with the math team to use fframes for expositions

Closest one out of the ones I saw, but the original is still just a tad better.

did codex already know fframes or did you hand it the docs? niche frameworks seem like the hard case

skill + source code

Curious how many passes this took. These recreations usually break on timing and easing, not the first frame.

Nice vid. fframes looks interesting too, will have to try!

Could you show the onion output for one transition? Seeing the movement trail beside the reference would make it easier to learn how you matched the easing.

Offloading SVG to shaders directly in Rust avoids the headless Chromium overhead you usually get with video pipelines, though layout authoring gets a lot trickier.

It was created using Opus 5.5 and required approximately six hours to complete all corrections and rendering. The result is truly amazing.

without giving the original to codex? 🤣

shaders doing the heavy lifting there, rust just keeps frames honest

did you give codex reference frames to compare against, or was the recreation driven by a text description?

Shaders get you the look, the easing is where the time goes.

this looks awesome! I’m curious how you got the animation so tightly synced to the audio beat using Codex. Would you mind sharing a bit about the process?

Holyyy! This is solid. Opus may have better design skills but for raw coding Astra is better. So human design skills plus Astra coding skills is a powerful combo.
