Reports from Amnesty UK clearly show that UK-made components have been found in weapons in the awful conflict in Sudan. But this government refuses to act. Once again, the minister refused to acknowledge the reality of the situation when I confronted him yesterday.

In my interview with MFR News and Sport I made it clear that the UK Government must stop exporting arms to Israel. By continuing to send weapons to Israel the UK Government is effectively complicit in the killing of innocent civilians. How many more innocent people have to be killed?

On 5th July this year, Palestine Action was proscribed after a vote in Parliament invoking the Terrorism Act 2000. Since then, police have made over 2,700 arrests for peacefully protesting. These arrests are unlawful. Amnesty UK has intervened in the Judicial Review in the courts and over 130,000 Amnesty supporters have called on the UK government to stop the prosecution of peaceful protestors.

Andy Burnham has styled himself as the champion of devolution. But Labour have just posted a video of him in Cardiff talking to the public where he makes commitments to changes in areas that are devolved to Wales. As Prime Minister he doesn't have the authority to directly change education, housing, business rates or social care. Clearly this is just a two minute video coving a two hour period. TBF at one point he does distinguish the "English social care system". But it's concerning that the man about to lead the UK isn't reflecting the reality of how the UK is governed in his messaging. If Boris Johnson had done something similar when he was Prime Minister, the then Welsh Labour Government would have been apoplectic.

“Can the Minister confirm whether these ISIS-linked individuals, upon return to the UK, were returned to custody, given their direct links to a proscribed terrorist organisation” This is the second time I’ve asked the Government about the whereabouts of the ISIS-linked individuals that have been brought back to the UK from the al-Roj camp in Syria. Are they in custody or not? The Government appears to have no idea and refuse to say.
