🚨 NASA: ASTEROID IMPACT RISK DOUBLES—BUT HEY, NO NEED TO PANIC (YET) NASA now says asteroid 2024 YR4 has a 3.1% chance of hitting Earth in December 2032, up from 1.3% just weeks ago. While still low, NASA’s Davide Farnocchia admits a 2%+ impact risk is rare—so, yeah, they’re paying attention. The space rock is 130 to 330 feet wide, big enough to flatten a city if it hits. A similar-sized asteroid in 1908 wiped out 1,250 square miles of Siberian forest—so, not exactly a scratch. NASA has until April to fine-tune its trajectory before the asteroid disappears until 2028. The Webb Telescope will scan it using infrared tech to estimate its exact size—because knowing how big the thing is before it (maybe) hits would be nice. Big news at the new Optimus 10m/y factory construction site today! The 1st steel structure has been erected & as expected the second phase of land reclamation is underway. This will allow this new factory to grow to nearly the same length as the main Giga Texas factory, although it will be a few hundred feet (~50 - 70 m) narrower. If you did not realize the massive size of this new factory, this should tell you all you need to know! A lot of steel beams & columns were being delivered to the site today and using the new staging yard in the nearby “lone tree” field. Check out this short clip showing the expansion, the steel structure & more of the foundation work!

Recently asked Coach Roberts about being a “win now” team while still developing younger talent, like Sania Feagin and Ta’Niya Latson: Essentially, the Sparks are focused on pursuing a championship and not development. “I think every team in the league wants to win now,” said Roberts. “But we also recognize we’re in LA and we’re one of the original franchises. I didn’t come to LA to rebuild or do some slow thing. I know KP [Kelsey Plum] didn’t, and Nneka [Ogwumike] didn’t. Our front office has that in mind as well in terms of getting players that will help us win now, but are also the right fit for what we’re trying to do and how we’re trying to play. I think we’ve done a good job of that. To your point about balancing with the young guys, a lot of the work in developing young players isn’t seen. It’s with our player development staff, our coaching staff; they get coached up a lot. It’s just a hard league to break into, it really is. But we believe in those guys, and we’re going to continue working. Their numbers will get called, and it’s a matter of them staying ready. The Lakers wasted Kobe’s best years and he still got 2 more RINGS post-Shaq. 35PPG on mostly Jump Shots AND 1ST TEAM ALL DEFENSE. The biggest threat from all 3 levels of the floor of all time. Watch these highlights. All bottoms of the net this is crazy. Kobe was still in his young athletic prime and the game came easy to him. And his skill this year peaked at an all time high which the league has never seen in its history considering his threat from 3Pt range. Just insane offensive production. A machine. You have to be totally locked in to move like this. No one can “decide to do this”. Syracuse’s William Kyle III is one of the best Big Man Prospects in this year’s NBA Draft. For the season Kyle averaged 8/7/1 along with 2.5 BPG and 1 SPG, while also shooting 66% from the field. Kyle also led all High Major players in Stocks per game with 3.5. Standing at 6’9 with a 7’3 wingspan and a 44 inch vertical Kyle has the tools and frame you want from an elite defensive big in the NBA. Kyle’s mix of elite athleticism, rim protection, defensive versatility, offensive rebounding, finishing, and motor is all of the traits teams are looking for in their rim running bigs in Kyle is one of the best in the class in all of those areas. On the defensive end Kyle uses his length and athleticism to be a highly impactful rim protector who also doesn’t foul which is extremely rare. He’s also versatile enough to play in a lot of different defensive systems and he's also versatile enough to switch onto smaller players. Kyle is also a high level help defender and uses his agility to make quick decision plays on the defensive end. Offensively he’s a very efficient rim runner who’s a strong screen setter, lob threat, while also being able to push in transition. He’s great at positioning himself for dunks where he finished with 59 this season. Kyle is also an efficient long dunking finisher where he shot 66% on layups. Kyle is also a solid passer for his archetype and has the ability to make plays in short roll situations. THE "CONSISTENTLY PROFITABLE" SKILL GAP & THE MYTH OF SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME FROM TRADING For many new traders or part-time traders, there is this pervasive belief that with some time and effort, they'll be able to make "just" a few grand per month to supplement their income. Or they "don't want to aim big, they just want to replace their current salary via trading so they can have more freedom." This is because people mistakenly believe that trading is like most other jobs, rather than it being a winner-take-all performance endeavor more akin to becoming a professional athlete. 99.9% of athletes will never make a dime professionally. There is no market demand for your average high school or college player. To even make league minimum in the NBA, you are still in the .0001% of basketball players. There is no such thing as just deciding to casually make a few grand as a pro athlete. Think about what it takes for someone to make $50k/yr as a golfer? The skill gap to earn an income or make the league minimum is crazy to comprehend. The analogy I gave with AT09 was the story of Brian Scalabrine. Even though Brian Scalabrine “sucked” in the NBA, he would absolutely annihilate 99.9% of the people calling him trash. He once said the famous line that he’s closer in skill to LeBron James than his haters are to him, and that line perfectly explains trading. The gap between unprofitable and elite looks massive from the outside, but the real canyon is between unprofitable and making any amount of money consistently. People look at a trader making $1M a year and think that’s a different species. They assume someone doing $100k a year is basically the same as the guy still blowing accounts, just with better luck. That’s like saying Scalabrine and your friend who plays pickup on Tuesdays are basically equal because neither is LeBron. Going from $0 to consistently profitable is the hardest jump in trading. You CANNOT just casually make a few grand per month or supplement income part-time. The skill level needed to consistently make ANY AMOUNT trading is the equivalent of being in the league. A trader who can pull $100k a year out of the market is not “kind of good.” They have competency in finding edge, executing trades, handling their psychology and risk management, and are competing in the league. From there, scaling to $300k, $500k, even $1M is usually a function of size, capital, and refinement, not a complete identity shift. But the trader still stuck at breakeven or red? They’re not one tweak away from $100k. They’re not “basically there.” They’re still trying to prove they belong on the court at all. The uncomfortable truth is this: the distance between $0 and $100k is far greater than the distance between $100k and $1M. One requires becoming a professional. The other simply just requires becoming a more refined one. My confidence in taking a trader from $100k to $1m is probably 10x higher than my confidence in taking a trader from $0 to $100k.

Been watching a lot of footage of 2028 QB and now Alabama commit Charles Scott Jr. According to 247 in 2025 the 6’5, 255 lb sophomore threw for around 3,600 yards and 41 TDS on 178 completions. Only throwing 4 INTs!!! Scott Jr (son of his high school coach) has obvious massive upside given his size. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that already as a sophomore, he has an SEC build. The Good: - Kid is LARGE, much like Alabama’s recent five star commit Elijah Haven, Scott’s size allows him a full view of everything going on around him on the field. Mechanics benefit from his size - strong throwing platform. - Flashes plenty of natural strengths, including an explosive arm that doesn’t seem to have to work very hard to push the ball vertically. - Even as a developing HS quarterback, Scott Jr already shows a lot of finesse. Accuracy in highlight tape (provided below from Scottboyz on YouTube) is on the upswing, especially on layered and touch passes. - Although not technically a massive run threat, Scott Jr, given his size, can stress defenders on the ground, especially in short yardage situations. Areas for Refinement: - Shows promise with timing routes, but will get better as he matures over the next couple of season. - Mechanics are not fully polished as to be expected from a young QB, but raw traits still shine. Footwork under pressure! - Will grow into faster processing speeds as he continues his path. Will need this as he makes the talent jump to the SEC. All-in-all, this is a rising recruit in the 2028 class - one that will garner a ton of attention over the next several months, especially now that Alabama fully seated at the head of the table. Another potential eval masterclass from Kalen DeBoer, Ryan Grubb, and Bryan Ellis. The scheme fit for Scott Jr is perfect at Alabama. The size and arm talent are there, with touch on the way. To suggest that women who don’t present in a “traditional feminine” way are being refused access to women’s bathrooms, and then additionally blaming women for it, proves the sexism & misogyny of gender ideology & it’s most loyal supports like this idiot here. Humans can tell the difference between males and females. This is a fact. It actually has very little to do with clothing. There are thousands of gene expressions that make sex clear in almost an instant. Blind people can tell the difference. Deaf people can tell the difference. Basically, even if you don’t have use of all of your senses, you can still tell the sex of people you’re interacting with and/or those around you. It’s that ingrained. Even in the (very) rare cases that a second look is required - for various reasons, many not even to do with gender ideology - sex is confirmed on that second look. This was a very important evolutionary skill for survival. It is involuntary, primal and accurate. But let’s just say, for fun, that this idiot has even half of a point: that there is an overcorrection by women from years of men invading women’s spaces. Perhaps a trauma response for some. FORMER KNOTT COUNTY CENTRAL AND ALICE LLOYD STAR PROVING TO BE A BIG SUCCESS IN BASEBALL Baseball has taken Dalton Cornett many places. The former Knott County Central star and Alice Lloyd College All-American has found a way to make a career out of the sport in a unique way - by playing Banana Ball! Cornett, the son of Alice Lloyd head coach Scott Cornett, was an All-American and NCCAA Mideast Region Player of the Year for the Eagles. He then transitioned to playing baseball professionally. He played for the Lexington Legends of the Atlantic League and the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League. He also spent some time in Puerto Rico before signing with the Savanah Bananas organization. He spent his first three years playing with the Party Animals, one of the teams created to play against the Bananas. This season, he is playing with one of the organization’s other teams - The Firefighters. Cornett is still enjoying the game he loves and recently hit a homer against the Bananas in a game. Cornett also owns DC3, a baseball equipment and clothing company. His company has designed uniforms, and his gloves have even been used in Major League Baseball games. One of his gloves is a tribute to Kentucky. He’s showing how one can be a success in a sport that they love without going the traditional route while using savvy to run a baseball business. We’re proud of what Dalton Cornett is doing, and he serves as a role model for young athletes in the mountains with his hustle both on and off the field.
