Thanks to the expertise at Renuka Eye Institute, the operation was successfully completed, allowing him to see the world with renewed clarity and confidence. Alongside him, 15 other patients underwent free cataract surgeries, reclaiming not just their sight, but their dignity and independence. With continued post-operative care, they will soon regain full vision, and with it, the assurance that compassionate public service can truly transform lives. Today, at the Amtala Somonnoy Auditorium, I had the honour of launching the SEBAASHRAY initiative, dedicated to ensuring the good health of every resident of Diamond Harbour. Starting January 2, 2025, this initiative will span across the Lok Sabha constituency, embodying the spirit of HEALTHCARE WITH A HUMAN FACE. I am deeply grateful to the 1,200 esteemed doctors who have joined hands with us in this mission. I trust that the warmth and hospitality of Diamond Harbour will leave a lasting impression on them. For me, Diamond Harbour is the synonym of love and devotion. To my beloved people, who are my strength and inspiration, I pledge to serve selflessly and repay their blessings.
