Let me watch this episode first but she’s probably honest. In “big tech,” Some people are taken straight to sales from day one. You can’t present sales reports in arrays, maybe graphs😆

@shadrac_matata I think she's just nervous. Let's give her some slack.

@shadrac_matata I would think maybe her word choice ndio shida tu but point anamake ni "I've never been explicitly asked to reverse a linked list at work.", right?

@shadrac_matata She is right, you are wrong. You can easily go 15years without having manually written a linked list. Unaguza tu fns, arrays, etc. If we're being honest DSA ni for interviews pekee yake, in real jobs/projects utacode backend/frontend/ci-cd udeploy, umigrate and never touch DSA.

@shadrac_matata But what she said is possible! She knows DS but she has not used it kwa kazi.

@shadrac_matata Sawa senior.

@shadrac_matata Alas. Women should stick to UI/UX na figma

@shadrac_matata Please delete or add a viewer discretion disclaimer! I blame the host, I am crying 😬

@shadrac_matata Weeh 💀

@shadrac_matata 😬

Whue🙌

It was a response to someone saying DSA is crucial. 😅

@shadrac_matata Maybe she met she hasn't implemented advanced data structures. Anyway, we will never know

@shadrac_matata Haha. As a senior?

@shadrac_matata Sina amesema she's in school, how's she a señor?

@shadrac_matata What a lunatic 😂

@shadrac_matata People confuse DSA is trees, linked list etc. A list/array is a DS, declaring an int variable is a data structure. These are just fundamentals that build the more complex structures

@shadrac_matata Maajabu!

@shadrac_matata 😅😅
