Let's build the next character for the team! I’m continuing to test the modular character setup in UEFN using the Metahuman Component. Works really well with custom NPCs! For this new character, I'm back to a fresh 3D workflow using AssetHub . Still aiming for that flat/ anime style so I can go straight to the Tripo P1 model and get the low poly textured meshes to work with. Assembling and rigging are done in Blender. Again making a shape key for the eyes blinking. Because I'm going to use the same bone structure, I can re-use some Control Rig systems like the hair and eyes procedural animations. The character has 35K triangles and each accessory is about 2.5K.

For those who have been watching me recently, you know that I tried a NEW mic 🙈 There's a certain sound I was looking for and really wanted but couldn't really get with my current mic, so I tried a new one thinking maybe that'll be easier to work with. Silly me! Needless to say the world of sound engineering is vast, fascinating, difficult, and oh-so-very frustrating. Other than finding a lot of complicated graph settings for female singing vocals, pretty much every OBS tip you get is either only using OBS' own filters, or men using the additional plug-ins etc 🥲 Apparently this is something chat struggled with as well, which is interesting! But I'm also so so relieved that I ended up having an amading sound savvy communtiy member (thanks Rob!) to help me set it up and now I love my mic settings! 💚

GPT-6 made GTA 6 beach house using MCP tools! Running Astra only through Blender MCP didn’t work for me, since it was mainly using primitive shapes to build the assets. Now, with Atlas workflows and Tripo, that changed! Initially, I thought Tripo P2 would be the way to go: low-poly results straight into Blender. I tried it, but I didn’t get the results I wanted. Don’t get me wrong, P2 is great and a big improvement over P1, I just wanted more detail for this project. So I ended up using Tripo 3.1. First, I needed a good starting point. I gave Astra some concept art and YouTube links, and it generated great reference images to work with. With Atlas workflows, I used those references to generate images for all the individual parts. Using Atlas MCP, I exported them and automatically renamed everything based on the prompts. The next step was feeding the images into Atlas Batch Composer so it could run all the 3D generations in one go. I asked Astra to optimize the generated assets to either 5K or 1K triangles, depending on their form and size. After a few tests, Astra made the process faster and faster. I gave it all 70 high-poly assets and let it run. Astra then took care of the whole build. It imported the optimized assets into Blender and used the reference images to start recreating the house. I only had to give it directional feedback twice and manually rescale a few things. There were still a lot of parts, though. Each beam was a separate object, and I knew that wasn’t ideal if I wanted to export the house to UEFN or Unreal Engine. So I asked Astra to export only the unique assets. Then, using UEFN MCP, it rebuilt everything 1:1 while reusing modular parts like beams and windows. I really enjoyed watching it place all the pieces in UEFN, almost like watching a timelapse of the house being built!

I’m not a vegan, but I would never bash anyone who chooses to live that lifestyle. What confuses me is why some vegans are so obsessed with making their vegetables taste like meat since meat is so objectionable for them, I am perplexed by this. So this man is making a vegan pulled pork by shredding banana peels instead of using actual smoked pork. I have to give him credit for using actual real clean ingredients like the banana peels and the spices. Something tells me that he actually believes that what he’s making is going to actually taste like pulled pork. For me, the look on his grandson’s face says it all. I know he’s trying to be nice and let his grandfather save face but I don’t think he actually enjoyed it. To me, he looks actually disgusted by it, I can tell by his comment about the “unique texture.” I’m not a vegan, but for the sake of enjoying different types of food, I think I would actually this. However I would approach it as a new food and not a replacement for pulled pork. I’ve never tasted any vegan replacement that actually tastes like what it’s replacing so that aspect for me is unrealistic. Is there a vegan replacement that you enjoy, would you make this?

I bet you look kind." 🥺 I was definitely not expecting this escape to end on such an emotional note but wow did this just hit so hard, I'm tearing up like crazy right now. Ending the arc with the mysterious man we met at the beginning in such a big way is so cool, and him coming to learn how honest and pure Luffy is to even wishing he hadn't blinded himself so he could witness it firsthand... fuck this show is so good what a way to end it off. Using blindness to showcase Luffy's characteristics is such an interesting way to change up how someone views him and highlight such a great new character too. Fujitora is by far the best admiral yet in my opinion, but also the one with the most depth too so it makes sense. Dressrosa was long and had some parts that dragged but moments like this have bumped it so high on my arc list. Again, really incredible writing man 🥹

TAYSAN AT THEPOP #THEPOP2026 #Tawan_V #POLCASAN — The origin of POLCASAN 🫍🐻‍❄ 🫍 There was one day I see Bangtan's character and I love it so much, even use their stickers to stick on my stuff. I was like "What if..." I remember it was covid era, I had nothing to do, so I drew my own character cause I wanted it, sun character and such, but I didn't use it for anything in the end. Until one day the company designed a logo for Polca fandom, you know the whale tail and a bear. There was 6-7 options given for TayNew. Turns out me and New chose the same design, which the one we're using right now and we love it so much. TayNew have a really well-defined identity. New is defined as a polar bear, because he's been called as polar bear since long time ago. As for me, like how I always change my name's spelling to be "whale", I really love orca whale. Since we're always known as the polar bear and orca whale, I felt like it really creates a well-defined character on us. Until finally they let us design our own character. They gave us a prompt— Oh, before all of these, we had Polcasan's older brother as well. But he... he... we aborted him. 🎤 Oh, that's so sad. Can anyone comfort Tay right now? He can't handle it. 🫍 No need to comfort me. When I lowered my head just now, I was actually smiling 5555 Just kidding, just kidding. We kept helping each other to develop it continuously until one day when we had to design a character for our couple. I was so happy since I love drawing and stuff. I still remember that day, they had us sitting in a room with paper, pencils, and colors, and then we helped each other to design. As I love drawing, I did the drawing while new helped in adding extra touches. We agreed that it had to be half bear and half whale, right? So at first, because we wanted to share it equally, we drew it as an exact half and half. San had no legs, he only had a whale tail, making him looked like a mermaid instead. And then, New came up with the name Polcasan. 🎤 So K'New was the one who came up with the name? 🫍 Yes. 🎤 K'Tay was the one who designed it? 🫍 Well, we helped each other, we helped each other. But I did most of the outline and such since I kinda have skill in drawing. 🎤 I see. So you gave extra attention from the tiny little detail to the overall picture, right? 🫍 Yes, but it was just 2D design when we first drew it. I remember after drawing, we even wishing for a good soul or spirit to come and be born into our son's body or something like that... 🎤 To that extent! 🫍 It was just our random joke and talking, we didn't expect it would actually happen because we didn't know they would actually turn it into a real mascot. There was a small problem before he was turned into a physical mascot, because our character didn't have legs. So Granpa Tha was like, "Alright, we need to miraculously create legs for San so he can walk." since San was in a mermaid form, so it would be like... 🎤 We almost got to see Nong Sang rolling around. 🫍 Yeah, that's why he became a version of San that has legs. We helped each other developing it.

juyeon's ending ment - the b land day 3 🐱 i had such a fun and wonderful time again today. did you all feel the same way? (👥 yes~) i really laughed a lot today, and i feel like i gave and received lots of love. i wanted to say thank you to you all. 🐱 also, since we moved (to a new company), we didn't actually have many schedules. for the first time, we had some time to slow down and take a break at the end of the year. i had a lot of thoughts during that time. it became an opportunity for me to think about how much i love this work and how much i want to meet the fans. 🐱 so it was a time of reflection and growth for me. and now, using this concert as an opportunity, i will really work hard and run coolly this year. you'll be with us, right? Today, I built a 5 AI agent team to run my X account using Grok 4.5.. tired of running this account all alone since last 5 years.. so. let me walk you through it. Up top, you've got all your live stats.. followers, views, your best post, engagement and it's all pulled live using X MCP straight from my account. There's even a slider right here.. drag it, and everything recalculates instantly. But the part I actually love is right below it.. my agent team... 1) First one's the Ideator. It scans X, Hacker News, GitHub and Reddit, finds what's about to pop off, and hands me the angle before anyone else is on it. 2) Right next to it, the Hook Writer it takes that idea and turns it into a ready-to-post hook, written in my voice.. 3) Then the Planner, running my whole content calendar, so I always know what ships next. 4) The Analyst lines my numbers up against the competitors I'm quietly tracking, so I know exactly where I stand.. 5) And the DM Manager keeps an eye on who's talking about me, or mentioning me so nothing slips past.. Down there you've got my top posts.. click any one, it opens right on X. And this is the performance of my recent ones, so I always know what's actually working. In the last 18 months or so my terminal use has exploded. From being a place where I mostly navigated the file system, ran a server and did some very light nvim use, to my entire workspace, connected to multiple machines, where I spend most of my day. This is the starting point we're using for designing the Superlogical multiplexer, and we're borrowing ideas from another app that blurs the local and remote, long lived sessions and throwaway tabs: the web browser. And the first thing I wanted to borrow: favicons, for your terminal apps. We call it the Deck icon (like a deck of cards), since it needs to represent your own layout of (potentially) multiple running processes.
