skin-tokens.cpp is up on GitHub! This let's you generate a skeleton and skin weights for humanoid and non-humanoid meshes. I tried combining this with skeletal animations from kimodo.cpp, but still having issues there as can be seen at the end of the video

Maybe your weight viewer has a thresholds and you don't see some low value weight that may link some Bones. Also from my experience kimodo doesn't map fingers (but that's unrelated)

Whoa. Was going down a UniRig -> SkinTokens rabbit hole and came across this. Exciting stuff!

fatal: Fetched in submodule path 'ggml', but it did not contain 0aa288d2c2e04c6169e52b330228b9004297afba. Direct fetching of that commit failed. <-- maybe pointing to a commit in ggml/ that was deleted ?

Ah my bad, gpt-sol made some commits to the GGML submodule instead of creating patches which is the usual pattern I follow

OK, this should be fixed now. Thanks for reporting Robert!

So open source mixamo? Coool!!!

I wouldn't know, but they seem to serve similar purposes

I really want to try this out. Will make some time this week. Good stuff man!

Cool, let me know how it goes

When you hovered over the right knee it also shows the tail got painted wrongly. Then again, good fucking luck figuring out that tail.
