This is exactly why slow motion replays can be misleading when judging travels. Refs have to make these calls in real time while sprinting backwards and tracking multiple players. That tenth of a second pause you see in slow-mo? Physically impossible to catch at game speed.

ARE 1 ON 0 WORKOUTS THE BEST WAY TO TRAIN? I moved away from 1 on 0 workouts a long time ago. They are great if the player has a specific technical need. It allows you to slow down and dive deep with the player. Other than that… multi player workouts are exponentially more productive and beneficial for the players. This allows them to still work on technical skill, but it allows you to put them in an environment where they have to read multiple players on the court- exactly how the game will be. Add in the fact that it forces players to compete and it’s a no brainer!
