That digital only future is suddenly looking even more worrisome in the UK. For the first time in as long as I can remember, discounted PSN Gift Cards at ShopTo and Loaded are completely unavailable, and Xbox Gift Cards are either out of stock or uncharacteristically barely discounted. Historically both have been readily available at healthy discounts (10-20% off), and one of the only ways to get digital pre-orders and day and date new releases at a discount, especially on PSN where pre-orders and brand new games are seldom discounted. This is unlike physical releases which are usually always on sale even on pre-orders or when brand new, at one retailer or another (the retailer takes the margin loss, not the publisher). I did ring ShopTo to ask them what was going on, and they told me the reason for PSN top up vouchers being out of stock was due to an update Sony / PlayStation were doing, and that while he expects them back in stock within 48 hours (previously they'd told me they'd be back in stock today), he can't guarantee they'll be discounted the way they used to be or have been for YEARS. Hopefully this isn't the end of decent discounts on PSN and Xbox Gift Cards (hence discounted digital purchases outside of PSN and Xbox Store mandated ones), but either way, I'm even LESS confident on pricing in an all digital future with consoles.

DF Confirms: Nintendo has been lying about the image quality of the clips they show to compare Switch 1 vs Switch 2 differences. Nintendo are FRAUDS!!! This is how I know The Switch 2 was just supposed to be a Switch 1 Pro, Nintendo purposely made the clips of Switch 1 look more washed out because the differences aren't that much different in general, Switch 1 games don't look much different than Switch 2 games. It's not reasonable to hyper focus on outlier negative reviews when the aggregate for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is high (Greg gave it a 6.5, Parris a 7, but Meta is 86). But the comments here are interesting and mimic even positive reviews on how its story not gameplay, is the focus. First Hellblade 2, now Indiana Jones. #Xbox is seemingly leaning heavier into cinematic or "movie" like games than #PlayStation this year lol. If anything, these games are far less gameplay focused than PlayStation's tentpole cinematic games. Mind you, the movie game term itself is largely used by fanboys in a demeaning manner. I hope all those who for years criticised or disliked these types of games, keep it consistent lol. As someone who often favours these types of experiences, it has me more, not less hyped. #Xbox #GamePass Credit to James for the video.

I just tested P2JB for the Japanese games lua loader by maj0r. Be patient as testing this stuff is taking so long it's not even funny. Still 2 hours with lua loader. I was sent one that jailbreaks and enables debug settings, an elf loader is being worked on. It's release is being considered. But the current implementation kernel panics as soon as you try closing the game. So the current use case for it would be to unpatch BD-J up to 12.00 and use BD-J and poopsploit after that. If the kp issue is resolved or someone ports/fixes it it'll be a bit better for people on digital consoles who have downloaded a lua game and higher firmware consoles up to 12.70.

You can release 1,000 games on Roblox, but if they're all this low quality, none of them are going to succeed. Use AI for the programming all you want, but it won't save a game that's fundamentally bad. There are plenty of successful games that use AI as part of the development process, but they still have someone with a solid understanding of programming and game design guiding the AI toward a quality product. AI is a tool, not a replacement for good judgment or experience. If the game itself isn't fun, polished, or well designed, it simply isn't going to do well.

If it’s Friday, it’s TGIF in GeoMacro! I am on my way back out of NYC after visiting clients here in the city. There are really only two things I am watching next week. 1. Iran. The key to the future movement of oil prices in case of a kinetic attack is the target package. Not so much on the U.S. side, but rather on Iranian. What will Tehran target as retaliation? If it is the same playbook as in 2020 and 2025, the move in oil prices could be over. 2. ⁠Cyclicals. I am watching things like industrial metals and global equities for sign that the carnage in U.S. tech remains localized. I am on record saying that the “world does not need another SaaS company” since at least 2023. But as long as allocators have other themes and narratives to rotate into, the overall market is fine. I think that they do, but time will tell. If commodities and non-US equities gap down, look out!

Appreciate the apology from Will Cain. For any interview, you’re always told the general topics beforehand. I told my booker: tell me the topic, but no bait and switch. I’ve experienced that before on Fox, and I’m not interested in doing it again. I’m always willing to have a good, spirited back and forth with folks I agree with and folks I don’t. But it’s important that everyone is on the same page about what the general conversation is going to be. So again, I appreciate the apology. Now that I am home and have access to my files I decided to do a quick test with one of my Vtubing avatars. It works way better with my larger iPad Pro (less crashing/more memory and more screen space) compared to the mini so I did want to bring that up. Importing the file over as GLB was more stable than just OBJ plus it kept the color info from the previous texture. I texture all my avatars on substance painter but have been looking at an alternative when I am out and about that is not on the computer and this actually hits all the right "wants". Adding a quick video of the way the app works for me. I like that it has layers, I can alter my brushes and even add stabilization when I am drawing (which I use that extensively on procreate so that was a huge plus). The stamp tools will come in handy as well but did not show it on this video. The file itself is imported as "one mesh" but each part is treated as their own separate piece which I show in the video. I do the same thing on substance painter making it really easy for me to texture. The app then exports the texture out for each object which is the same way I do so on substance. Overall I am extremely impressed with the work Sparseal has done on this application and see how useful this will be for my current work flow of texturing. I for one love the ability to be "portable" which is a big reason I sculpt so much with Nomad Sculpt on the iPad. Having the freedom to do your work away from a desk and if you feel like doing it outside is probable why I yearn for iPad apps so much like so. Give this app a look, it is free to try on the App Store (It is $19 to be able to export, but a one time buy). It is called "Wafer" for the iPad. I already use CozyBlanket from the same creator to do re topology so I expected this level of fantastic with this current app.

Why do people freak out when PvE and ARC Raiders are mentioned together? Helldivers 2 is an extraction shooter at its core. You dive in, complete objectives, loot, and extract. It is fully PvE and sold millions. ARC Raiders was originally planned as PvE but the devs thought it was not fun, so they changed it. I don't know if they looked away when Helldivers 2 released or not because PvE can be fun. What I do not understand is why not have both for those who want it? I really like the game but I do not enjoy the PvP parts. Early playtesters said the AI used to be much smarter and harder in the PvE builds. Why not keep that as a separate mode instead of making the ARCs easier just to fit PvP balance?

One of the toughest week but now with a few more months training and a full week off I will attempt to run 20 miles every day for a week. Over 140 miles of pure tarmac. 20 miles every day next week 🫡 Last July I completed running 15 miles every day for a week. One of the toughest week but now with a few more months training and a full week off I will attempt to run 20 miles every day for a week. Over 140 miles of pure tarmac. Not raising money, nor doing it for views or clicks but to show myself I can do this and to raise awareness for mental health. I owe no one an explanation but I'm going to do it. I'm doing it not because of the insult I am receiving, that I am greedy or I don't know what I'm doing for leaving a 14 million naira cash out, but because of only one thing in particular, and that is because of the few comments I have read. I noticed some people are actually saying it is an edit which makes it a fake post to get engagement or the particular game belongs to another punter. Few of my followers who know me very well and can testify that my games are real because most times I do giveaway, not big money though, but something for breakfast and almost every week they get a token from my winnings. And they know I like playing less than 3 odds. I only play a running ticket once in a blue moon. A particular Guy after seeing my games called me a sporty agent, after getting 3K giveaway from me back to back during the weekends he never called me that name again. I will make a video of this particular game and allow everybody to see that I did not cash out either partially or fully. A real gamer that sees this game and checks each option very well will be certain that the last game will come. I mean, it's BARCELONA, just 1-UP, against club brugge, JESUS CHRIST 🤦 🤦🤦, I still can't believe this. More difficult games we are on that ticket but they scale through, one of the easiest and the last match was now the main issue. I am not trying to boast, if you are not a good punter, all you have money issues then you will see this particular game and cash out. But a real punter who studies games and teams for days before playing will never believe Barca we will not play 1-UP in this match with their present form and also try to go higher at the champions League table. And for those asking me to post games so they can play and others saying all sorts of things against me because I only post winnings, that is because I have come to realize most people don't play my games because the odds are too small, so I stopped posting them.

Auditioning is a completely different performance than how you’d perform it when you get the job. Most actors don’t realize that. What do I mean? In an audition, I only have 1 set up, 1 frame from the chest up. On set you’ll have multiple set ups and multiple camera lens sizes. So for example if I have to do a very explosive emotional scene for an audition I’m beholden to that one set up which is the chest up how casting likes it. BUT if I’m too big and too emotional for that frame size it might come off as melodramatic/Over-acting or I’m forcing it. So I have to do a little less. Now on set during the master I can be as big and as ferocious as I want and then dial it down as the camera moves in closer. The same goes if it has to be small and intimate scene, I might have to project a bit more to convey that emotion in an audition where if it was on set that close up sees everything and I can be as small an intimate as I want. So during these auditions you’re predominantly handcuffed to the size of the frame that casting wants. I like to be subtle in auditions and sometimes that can look like you’re doing absolutely nothing and its not as engaging for the audition process. (You’re trying to get a job) So I amp it up 10-20%. Again, where as on set I can be as small and subtle as I want and when they move in on your close up it sees the minutia of every detail that your face and eyes make. (Also in an audition you’re acting with a friend or a family member who might not be an actor. No professional makeup or hair, bad lighting, dog barking, cat meowing, fedex guy ringing your bell,etc etc) So to recap… AUDITIONING SUCKS!🤦🏻‍♂️ #kidvicious🔪

✨ The 🟢 Vibe Portal 2026 is now officially live! It adds a green circular ring portal to every #vibejam game that players can walk, swim, jump, drive, sail or fly through and get teleported to any of the other 1000+ games It's like a mini meta verse for vibe coded games to teleport through Last year it was a bit buggy because me and s13k had to manually manage all the games added and games would start 404'ing quickly This year it works differently and is fully automated: the Vibe Portal tracks which games send traffic to other games, and based on that sends traffic back to them, so automatically if a game doesn't send traffic, it knows either it doesn't have a portal or the portal is not working (like the last fish game in this video) or not shown properly in the game.
