I love this! Hate seeing vents in games where it’s just a void or a very shallow box. When I was little I’d always try and glitch into them, especially if they had depth to them. This shader would have drove me bonkers. 😭

This is literally what every modern game that cares about your performance does. They do this because it’s better for performance, and it actually looks good.

Actual question. I know its so you can add it to any wall, but Is this better than having a poly modelled vent performance wise? Sure it would have more polys but it wouldnt have to render anything fancy?
