I genuinely don't have any words for this 🤯 Just ONE image of a robotic bee and somehow got this incredibly gooood 3D model with great topology. No prompt. No rework. No retries. Nothing else. This kind of thing could have taken weeks of modeling, retopology and iteration. Or maybe more. Damnn Now anyone with a crazy enough idea can just make beautiful things. Anyone. Fable 5 is back. So I gave it one of my favorite frontend tests: one prompt + one reference image. The task: rebuild a 3D globe dashboard.🌎 The result was almost too good. It did not just make a working page. The texture, lighting, spacing, depth, glass panels, and overall layout were all close to the reference. Some parts felt nearly pixel-level.

AI can't replace a 3D artist yet. I gave a loop of AI agents two days to fix my animations. This is what I got back. Day 15 + 16 of building my own GTA 6 with a loop of AI agents. Today's progress: - Aiming works now, you can line up a shot properly. - Camera movement is in, it follows you the way it should. - Walking turns look right, no more sliding around corners. We have spent two whole days letting the loop work on the animations and got basically no improvement. The ones we're ending up with and the free ones off Mixamo both look cheap. So we're probably just going to buy a premium animation pack off Epic and hand it to Claude. Good news is aiming and the camera feel real now. Making the character move like it isn't a cheap asset is the next wall.

Robot VR control. All the existing "VR" teleop systems I tried felt like shit so I put together my own. Instead of just piping a camera feed, I do a 3d reconstruction so you get depth perception and 6DoF head movement. This feels waay better than a flat image (no 3d, might as well skip the VR), or directly streaming per-eye video, which gets you depth but leaves your view locked in place (0DoF lmao). Not really sure why nobody else seems to do this.
