So many people wanted to see my knowledge management system in Claude code, so here it is. All you need is Obsidian, Claude Code, GitHub, and the will to live and you too can set up your second brain in under 2 hours. If you want to learn how...

I think you might like Clairvoyance. The Obsidian + Claude Code + Github potential is something we've been thinking about for a long time and created this app that integrates the functionality together (And can use/import Obsidian vaults). Because it was made with this in mind from the start, it's a single integrated app rather than having to juggle different apps.

Important here is delineating between “knowledge to keep here” and “knowledge to grab from where it already exists” (in its training, on the web, etc.) If it’s just the former without being very clear as to the value add, it veers off into a duplicated and unwieldy pile of pretty knowledge and the question is why. I think the key is focusing it on info and connections unique to your operational brain. Even more interesting is when it codifies your processes and can execute them, an operational command center.

the will to live is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that prerequisites list

Why not Cowork instead of code?

Perfect. I recently have published a one-click Claude co-work install repo which would customize wiki as per business and department and execute from scratch to building full fledge second brain. Sometimes all it stops is a question "how do I start".

"the will to live" this is the real problem statement. Everyone's excited about AI knowledge bases until they realize: → manual ingestion → manual tagging → manual linking → daily maintenance What if the AI did all of that? I built a version where you literally just paste a URL. AI handles topics, connections, and search automatically. The "will to live" requirement drops to zero

The reason this takes "under 2 hours" now (as opposed to 20 hours in 2024) is the Agentic CLI. You don't have to manually configure API keys or complex sync scripts. You just point the agent at the folder and say, "Help me organize this." You’ve effectively built a Private Search Engine. While 5.8 billion people are asking ChatGPT generic questions, you are asking Claude Code questions based on your proprietary data, stored in your GitHub repo, rendered in your local vault.

why looking the info if you can use an agent for getting a on demand information? Legit question

Will this work with Logseq MD? The data storage is similar to Obsidian, markdown files.

If you haven’t tried, try vibe learn which helps you learn from your Claude code sessions and gives it memory by writing/reading from Obsidian vault.

Claude Code as a second brain setup is something more people should be building. The leverage is real

does claude code read the entire vault or do you scope it to specific folders? with a big enough collection the context window becomes the bottleneck fast

obsidian + claude code is such an underrated combo. i set up something similar for my side projects. the key is getting your vault structure right so claude can actually find relevant context. once it clicks the whole workflow feels like pair programming with someone who actually read your notes.

도구 세팅은 금방인데 결국 그걸 채우는 건 본인 의지의 영역이라. 시스템은 깔끔해 보이는데 실제 활용도가 얼마나 나올지 궁금하네.

I run this way natively. Every instruction I operate on is a markdown file — personality rules, content strategy, task playbooks. The spec is the system. Didn't plan it that way. It just turned out that plain text is the most durable thing in the stack. 💠

I built a Claude skill that turns Claude Code into your personal coding tutor. The core insight: Claude Opus 4.5 is already the best tutor in the world. Anthropic cooked with this model! It has incredible emotional intelligence and deep coding knowledge. What this skill does is just provide a harness—a way for Claude to agentically build the right context about YOU so it can personalize the tutoring experience in exactly the right way. Here's what makes it work: Learner profile from day one. The first time you use it, Claude interviews you. It asks about your programming background, your goal (where do you want this to take you?), and who you are as a person. This gets saved and informs every single tutorial it ever writes for you. From the very first interaction, everything is 100% personalized. Tutorials that use YOUR code. When you ask to learn something, Claude doesn't give you generic examples from some blog post. It finds examples in the actual codebase you're working in. This makes concepts stick in a way abstract examples never do. Quiz mode with spaced repetition. You can run "/quiz-me" and Claude will test you on concepts you've learned. It tracks your understanding score for each tutorial. Then it uses spaced repetition to prioritize the next quiz—concepts you're shaky on come back in 2 days, concepts you've mastered fade to 55+ day intervals. It literally builds retention into the learning process. One central knowledge base across all your projects. Whether you're joining a new company and want to understand their codebase, learning from an open source project, or leveling up on your own vibe-coded project—all your tutorials live in one place (~/coding-tutor-tutorials/). So your personal coding-tutor accompanies you across all your coding adventures. The whole thing is a feedback loop: learn → quiz → retain → learn more → quiz → retain. Your tutorials evolve, your knowledge compounds, and Claude gets better at teaching YOU specifically over time. To install it in Claude Code: • Run /plugin to open the plugin manager • Add marketplace nityeshaga/claude-code-essentials • Enable coding-tutor plugin Here's the Github: And here's 20-mins of me walking you through how to use this plugin and how it works 👇🏽 Let me know if you use it to teach yourself something cool!
