Some performance improvements can be made by working on the decal timing or giving players the option to remove decals using a bind like before. Here you can see my min value drops are very light when people shoot in air vs wall (resulting in decals) CS2

@CounterStrike Amazing work, but as you see, it drops just after the first bullet is shot. Mid-fight players will notice the lag as they will press the bind post fight, and if you bind clear decals to M1 like a few did in CSGO won't the drop and spike after every bullet feel even worse?

@CounterStrike it doesn't just happen with mouse1 or else the drops would be severe when shooting in air too

@CounterStrike I meant, let's say devs gave us a clear decals command we bind shoot+cleardecals to M1 After every shot it will create a decal and drop fps And the command will spike it back to normal Spraying would feel worse cuz fluctuation of fps? (Realised they removed binds last year😂)

@CounterStrike I see a sharp drop in my 1% low FPS when someone on the map or I shoot someone. Going from 340 to 150-100 FPS... (9800X3D, 3070Ti, 32GB)

@v___a___lmrn @CounterStrike I think because of my video a lot of people are calling this 1% lows. This is the min value. It doesn't make any difference though as all of it is just frametime. And yes it does happen specially whne server is filled with more than 5 people.

@CounterStrike No offense, but you guys spent way too much time in a game where cheaters run wild in almost every elo. Valve does not give a fuck about the biggest problem in this game, they will definitely not give a fuck about fps drops.
