Some random roads in Mauritius 🇲🇺 Clean, smooth, well-maintained roads, with everyone actually following the road rules 🛣️ Took us about 60 minutes for 40 km in stretches with 40–60–80 km/h speed limits Loved driving today. Just a few kilometres, but the whole drive was absolutely seamless! 🚗✨ #Mauritius

HDC has put speed bumps across Hulhumale public roads like it is some university campus/parking lot. Who came up with this genius idea? Speed bumps are for places where vehicles crawl at 10 km/h like parking lots, campuses, private lanes. They are not designed for main public roads. On real roads, they’re not just an inconvenience, they’re a danger. Every bump smashes riders and passengers, especially vulnerable people like pregnant women. A pregnant woman has in fact complained to Midhuam Saud(米渡）🇲🇻 saying she can’t even ride her motorbike anymore cause every bump slams her stomach. You think that’s safety? That’s recklessness. You’re punishing everyone on the road instead of addressing the tiny minority who drive recklessly. Housing Development Corporation Pokman 🇲🇻 This isn’t how modern cities work. Proper road design, enforcement and intelligent traffic systems are how you build safe roads. Remove them. Do your job properly. Make Hulhumale’ a modern city, not an obstacle course.

Driving in Europe is simply a delight, I am badly madly in love with their roads, well maintained rental cars and the god level driving sense. 0 horn, driving is so effortless that I have driven 500+ km in last 24 hours and don’t feel a bit of it. No random breaking, while on the fast lane if you get closer to the car in-front (closer in europe means a space where in India another 6 cars, 2 auto and 10 motorcycles will fit in) the car will automatically change lanes for you to pass. Indicators everywhere, I still remember last time I did a 500 km tour in India my blood vessels and life, everything were threatened 🫣🥴 Roads have all the signs throughout be it village or highway. No worrying for life or any rowdy driver who may hit you. Crazy Speed Limits! 100 seems like so slow, 180/90 is like eazy peazy. PS- I again didn’t require any IDP, my Indian license was enough. Please do whatever but don’t take that fake online conversion of indian license for whatever money you are paying, their adds are all over and if you are pulled over or caught anywhere those won’t work nor are needed. If at all, get it from local RTO or few car associations in India are authorised and exclude Italy from the above driving experience.

Tesla FSD just showed a level of road awareness that most human drivers don’t bother with. When a vehicle moves to overtake, instead of holding its position in the lane, the car subtly shifts over to create extra clearance, making the pass smoother and safer for everyone involved. It’s a small move, but it says something bigger about where autonomous driving is heading: not just following rules, but understanding the unwritten ones too.

🚨 See flashing lights on the side of the road? Know the rules 🚨 📅 The Government of Alberta announced the following changes effective Friday, Sept. 1, 2023: 🔹 Drivers travelling in the adjacent lane are required to SLOW DOWN to 60 km/h or the posted speed limit, whichever is lower, for all emergency responders or roadside workers, including stopped maintenance vehicles & snowplows with their flashing lights activated. 🔹 Drivers are required to safely move over to an alternate lane, if possible, to provide workers with extra space. Share the road responsibly & help keep our emergency responders & roadside workers safe! Alberta Government

🚨 France put two FSD cars on its own roads after talking with Elon • Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot: months of technical work with Tesla, then a constructive exchange with Elon • Two FSD-equipped cars now running French roads so Paris can check the data itself • Tests due mid to late September. An EU technical vote can land as early as October 6 • Netherlands opened first. Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania already followed • Tesla logged 100 million km of FSD Supervised in those five countries. Collision rate there is about 4.1x lower than manual Teslas July’s line from Paris was that the safety trade-off was not good enough. September’s line is road testing. That is a real shift. Europe does not need another demo video. It needs a large country to sit in the car and then vote. France just started that process. The software has been driving European roads for months. Most of the map is still waiting for a yes.

Traveling across Morocco has been an absolute pleasure. The experience on the road is smooth and enjoyable well-maintained highways, clean streets and seamless connectivity between cities. You can drive for over three hours without encountering a single pothole. That alone says a lot about the country’s infrastructure. What truly adds to the magic is the AFCON touch. Around major roundabouts and key areas, the flags of participating nations are proudly displayed. It’s a beautiful sight. A celebration of unity, culture and African football all in one place. Morocco continues to set the standard, not just on the pitch, but in organization, hospitality and presentation. A truly fitting host for a tournament of this magnitude. #AFCON2025 #AFCONwithMicky

⚠️ Caution to Mokila HMDA Plot Bidders ⚠️ Upcoming Mokila HMDA auction is on 29th June & 30th June and I visited the site today, and here are my thoughts. The HMDA layout is shaping up very well. The development quality looks good, and the internal roads and overall planning appear to be done to a decent standard. However, the current approach roads are a major concern. • The approach road from Mokila Main Road / Waterford Villas side is decent initially, but remember it is only a 30 ft road, and nearly 1 km towards the end is still a kacha road. • The Kollur approach road is currently in a pathetic condition. • The third access road, which was probably operational earlier via the Aparna venture side, is now closed. Though the brochure mentions 3 HMDA planned approach roads, none of them are actually under progress or visibly planned on ground as of now. Personally, I would not recommend bidding beyond ₹65,000 per sq yard at the current stage. There are other options like Gachibowli County and JB Ventures plots directly on the RR7 Extension Road in the ₹55K–₹60K range, with much better connectivity and just 10–12 minutes from the Kollur exit. It doesn’t make much sense to invest ₹70K–₹80K+ without a proper and dependable approach road.

Speed control being removed from FSD is a hot topic, and I often get roasted for not bringing it up more. Truthfully a lot of the time the lack of a user-defined max speed isn’t that big of a problem - but it still is 100% a problem. Last weekend we went to the island and the car misread the speed limits 90% of the time. The issue was when we were driving around the campsite and the speed limit was 15kmh and FSD thought it was 40kmh. So in that situation even being in sloth mode doesn’t fix the problem with the car driving too fast. Similar issue - two days ago we had a really bad rain storm and even in sloth FSD was trying to go 100kmh on the highway. Almost every other car was driving closer to 80kmh but I couldn’t force the car to drive that slow - so instead we were one of the fastest cars on the road (in the sloth speed profile) and I had to disengage and drive myself since the speeds weren’t appropriate for the conditions. I know Tesla knows about this - but I just think it’s worth bringing up 🤷‍♂️ I really really really hope v15 can fix issues like this. Also please stop speeding in school zones.

Audi Sport Quattro. One of the most unique shapes to ever come out of the 80s. A shortened version of the Ur Quattro boxy coupe that looks like nothing else. 2.1 L Turbocharged five-cylinder with 306 hp in the road-going version, which was huge for the time. This Audi was so quick that it could embarrass the Lamborghini Countach at the time, 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. This was built for rally homologation, so it was limited to 214 units. Directly connected to the Group B era and cars like the S1 Quattro. Today these cars can go for over a million € for just well preserved examples with low mileage.

We've all seen how 60 Minutes interviews Trump. They go to war with him on every statement. Scott Pelley has interviewed Biden numerous times. They are always softball interviews but his 2022 interview with Biden was particularly pathetic. Inflation was just off of a 40 year high. Pelley did ask him one question it about inflation in the beginning and then moved on to the fun stuff. No questions about the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan the year before. No questions about the fact that the border was wide open and had been for two years. Here's some clips from that pathetic interview. 1/7: Biden claims to have reduced the debt. No correction or follow-up from Pelley.

Traffic is crazy; it took me about 30-something, 40 minutes to get here. Traffic's heavy. But it's a real great atmosphere. Breaking news 🗞️ 🚨 Tesla just quietly solved a problem in Australia. The Model X is gone from our market. But the new Model Y L Premium AWD might actually be the closest thing we have to a replacement. And honestly… it makes a lot of sense. ⚡ Tesla Model Y L – Key Specs • 0–100 km/h: ~5.0 sec • Range: ~681 km WLTP • Top speed: 201 km/h • Seating: 6 adults • Supercharging: 250 kW • ~288 km added in 15 min 💰 Australian pricing (before on-road costs) Model Y Long Range AWD → $68,900 Model Y L Premium AWD → ~$74,900 So for roughly $6k more, you get: ✔ 3 rows ✔ 6 seats ✔ Much larger cabin ✔ ~400L extra cargo capacity ✔ Longer wheelbase ✔ Even more range 📊 Quick comparison Model Y Long Range AWD • 5 seats • ~600 km range • 0–100 km/h: 4.8 sec • $68,900 Model Y L Premium AWD • 6 seats • ~681 km range • 0–100 km/h: 5.0 sec • ~$74,900 So performance drops slightly, but practicality goes way up. 🇦🇺 Why this matters in Australia Since Tesla stopped selling the Model X locally, there has been a real gap in the lineup for larger families. The Model Y L doesn’t completely replace the X. You lose things like: ❌ Adaptive air suspension ❌ Driver instrument cluster ❌ Falcon Wing doors ❌ Some luxury interior touches But you still get: ✔ Tesla software ecosystem ✔ Supercharger network ✔ Massive range ✔ Practical 3-row seating And at a much lower price than a Model X ever was. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who this is perfect for • Growing families • Current Model Y owners needing more space • Former Model X buyers • Anyone considering EV9 / EX90 but wanting Tesla’s ecosystem Personally, as a Model X owner, this is the first Tesla sold in Australia that actually feels like a realistic successor. I’m seriously considering replacing my Model X with the Model Y L, possibly around the end of Q2 or mid-Q3 this year. Not a perfect Model X replacement. But for Australia right now? This might be Tesla’s smartest family vehicle yet. ⚡🇦🇺 ORDER NOW : Tesla Australia & New Zealand Tesla AI

🔥 BREAKING 🔥 Police officer confronts Indian taxi driver hits a 13-year-old boy with his car then drives off & keeps working. Multiculturalism has failed. Immigration from certain countries has failed. 3rd world foreign drivers are putting all of our lives in danger. A few months ago I was run off the road by an Indian truck driver, he veered into my lane on the left pushing me up onto the nature strip & in the path of an electrical pole. If I didn’t have decent driving skills & quick reflexes, it wouldn’t have ended well for me. Enough is enough. The roads in Melbourne are now terrifying, it’s like playing Russian Roulette every time you drive now.
