Dan I totally agree with the your assessment on the WCC. Mancity was using it like it’s preseason and so did many of the other big European teams.

I was right to call you Arrogant Dan in one of my ESPN FC questions that was televised. OBVIOUSLY the European teams would do well. They got money. However, that money isn’t European at all. It’s middle eastern. It’s Asian. It’s American. Your leagues would be CRAP without it.

Way too much time wasted by Eurocentric pundits/fans debating whether it matters or not. Like it or don’t. Move along. These espn dudes spend ridiculous amounts of time complaining about something they don’t care about.

I don't think its a rubbish tournament. But I can't say I really care about it. The biggest issue with it is being played at the end of the season. Players are knackered, too hot - and no wonder Brazilian clubs are doing well its the middle of their league. Bit of a farce.

Problem is that because of where it falls this is not preseason, this week is when most teams go into preseason work. They spent the past 5 weeks preparing and playing this crap. Now they have to rest and fall behind other teams 🤣🤣
