been making a ton more progress with the first person animations for locomotion lately! there's now a full suite of idle/movement/jumping/falling animations, quick item switch animations, and some work-in-progress mining animations that are sped up based on the tool type!

Something I made a little while ago -- a blur implementation in the shader editor. Uses a custom node with a kernel to easily do sharpening etc with it too! It's interesting to play with for camera distance based blurring :3 #blender3d #b3d

Built a browser shader to teach relativistic effects. Beaming, lensing, Doppler & redshift—live sliders. Based on Koiava's blackhole shader on Shadertoy. I wrapped it in Three.js, added GUI toggles (beaming, redshift, photon ring), Kerr spin cheat. Link in thread. Here, I'm using SSGI with CSM, SSS (screen space shadows), and a custom atmospheric fog for more realism. Adjusting the time of day in a scene like this is like a dream come true 😍.
