@SylviaJonesMPP Right! So instead of drivers pushing the limits of 100 km/hr and actually doing 120, they’ll now drive 130! What could go wrong? Same with removing speed cameras. All because some of YOUR MPP’s kept getting caught by them.

This is completely unnecessary. This will simply encourage drivers to speed up even more. People already travel at speeds well over 130km/h. Moving the base line will only increase the severity of accidents just to arrive at destination xyz a couple seconds/ minutes earlier.

I think limit should increase to 130 or 140. That's the usual speed limit cars are driving on 401. I drive at 105 and get bullied by cars behind and trucks even in middle lane.

This is the reality Northern Ontarians face every day. A drive to work, school, or a medical appointment can become a life-or-death situation.
