The Ship Engineer's Apartment by Ahmed Albaqlawa is a scene made almost entirely from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 (apart from some decals and plants from Fab!) ⛵ Ahmed's goal was to showcase and push his capabilities within a 4 month period. Not only that, but Ahmed also challenged himself to make the scene feel as lived-in as possible, with storytelling aspects woven into the environment.

Seedance 2.0 - Advanced Workflows Series 12. Cinematics with Unreal Engine and Claude Fable 5 Fable 5 is an absolute beast model that can take control of Unreal Engine and create videogames. We can build scenes as a little video game with physics and assets and configure a playable character to create a cinematic scene. In this example I created a scene of an astronaut lost in space floating between asteroids. I created a zero gravity environment and made assets like cubes and spheres representing asteroids interact in this environment. I recorded the gameplay and later place a camera to build the cinematic. Workflow + Prompts 👇

Our Journey Continues... In Unreal Engine For Fortnite. With a dedicated Halo Forge team and now a newly formed UEFN team. We look forward to bringing content to more players then ever before across Halo & Fortnite. With multiple projects in the works for Halo. And with brand new experiences built from the ground up in Unreal in the works, we cannot wait to start making content for more players across multiple IP's. Finally solved all the big things needed to prove occlusion culling is viable in the Hyperfy engine. All culling happens directly at render time and instantly, we've taken over the Three.js render pipeline to use our spatial hierarchy and manually issue renders, postprocessing and shadow passes with both frustum and occlusion culling. Our pipeline now aligns much more closely to unity/unreal because we collect visible objects and issue custom instanced draws on the fly for only those objects every single frame. This is one of the biggest issues engines on the web like three, babylon and playcanvas have and imo the reason people coming from unity/unreal don't take them seriously. There's a lot to unpack here, maybe i'll make a thread soon.

Less than two weeks since our last update, and we've launched a new version of our perception model, Comic 4.3. It's much much faster — now the fastest pro quality motion capture! Best of all, it's just as fast for multiple characters as for a single character. And, you can batch process all your shots at the same time. So, 1 or 100 performances — super fast 🤸‍♂️ Also cool, you can use it directly in Unreal Engine, and soon Maya, Blender and Unity. Live Cartwheel. We ran some shots through different tools and timed it all to see the speed. #robotics #unreal #maya #blender #AI #unity #mocap #computervision

UE6 is about evolving how we ship and operate games. As UE5 and UEFN merge into one editor, you’ll be able to ship as you do today in Fortnite, or ship your own ecosystem and make it compatible with ours. UE6 will keep doing the things you want an Unreal Engine to do. Rendering will keep getting better. Cook times will come down. Iteration loops will get tighter. We plan to release UE6 in Early Access at the end of 2027… ISH:
