What happens when you change the hand mid-task? We tested this by modifying the hands mid-rollout and letting the same model keep running. It perceives the new tool, and finds a new trajectory and contact strategy to complete the task. This works because training on mixed data forces the model to condition its behavior on the hand in front of it. This brings it closer to a general understanding of how shapes and contact surfaces interact with the physical world – and which actuation strategy should follow.

THE ETERNAL DANCE OF THE COSMOS Electricity and magnetism are the two primal forces that render our universe into existence. From the invisible field of the Aether emerges polarity. Volume warning: Someone said something about refueling on NVGs, here is another video I shot of our CH-53Es refueling off the African coast. This time from the POV of the C-130s we get fuel from. A few things to point out: the flash of light you see when they connect is static electricity. The helicopters make a shit ton of it. You can also see the engines working harder as they lift up once they are plugged in. This was under a moonless night, with basically no cultural lighting. This is literally by starlight only. So the night vision goggles are working extremely hard here.

I received a text from Erin in BC about what access to free birth control meant to her. So we jumped on a call. To her free birth control is about Bodily Autonomy and it's an issue of Canadian Identity. I agree. It's the NDPs vision of who we are and what it means to be Canadian. Caring. Kind. Compassionate. A country where we lift each other up - not tear each other down.

CNN chief law enforcement and intel analyst John Miller’s first reaction to the ICE officer’s cellphone video.... “Well, what stands out is a, it’s another angle that makes it helpful to start with. B, it’s the closest thing that we are going to have in all likelihood, to the near equivalent of a body cam for this officer because he’s not wearing a body cam. He’s shooting this with his phone handheld in one hand. He gives us a full 360 degree walk around the car, and as Chuck Ramsey said, you know, the first person seems to be saying, I’m not mad at you. And the second person saying, we don’t wear masks and we don’t change plates, and we’ll see you later. Not a highly tense situation, but at this moment here on the other side, they’re saying, out of the car, out of the car. Those are other agents, and then you see the car go into gear. It sounds like the car strikes the agent. We can’t see that because we know from the other angle two things are happening right then. Number one, the hand with the phone is going down, and number two, the hand with the gun is coming up. So, and it appears from that that angle that he takes these shots with one hand. So, I think we learned a lot from this video. Part of what we learned is we can’t make factual assumptions only from the other videos. You really have to look at all of them and come to some collective forensic judgment with those comparisons.”
