🚨 One thing that has frustrated me with Tesla Full Self-Driving is that I find it will sometimes change lanes to overtake a car, but the lane it changes into either ends or goes against the navigation (for example, it will change into a straight lane when it needs to be in a turn lane) Inevitably, it has to get back over before the lane ends or to get into the correct lane, and it ends up in the same place it was initially. A good example:

Worst Tesla Robotaxi move I've seen in recent months. Tried to turn onto a street in Dallas, got stuck, and just sat there blocking the road for almost a minute. Cars having to go around it, and another can’t see past it. In my time riding Robotaxi the decisions have been consistently impressive but this one… this one was not good Tesla AI. 🚕

Still experiencing this issue daily ever since V11 was released. The car wants to take this exit when it shouldn't. Sometimes with a turn signal, sometimes without. Nav says go straight. Even in the right lane, it will try to take that exit daily as well. Elon Musk

This is what a very capable robotaxi looks like. First, FSD 14.3.2 notices the stopped bus blocking the lane, so it signals far in advance and moves over. Then, as we get closer, the bus starts pulling out, and FSD quickly anticipates that it will encroach into our lane, so it safely brakes to let it in. Smooth operator.

AUTO LANE CHANGE ISSUES CONTINUE W/ FSD V14.2.1.25 Starting with FSD v14.2, there has been a significant regression in the system's confidence when performing automatic lane changes. If a vehicle is following in the adjacent lane at a safe distance and consistent speed, the ego car will often activate the turn signal and begin crossing the lane line before suddenly aborting the maneuver, pausing briefly, and then either proceeding with the lane change or abandoning it entirely. This behavior appeared in v14.2.1 and unfortunately persists in v14.2.1.25. While it is not a safety issue per se, it is definitely one that needs to be addressed, as it causes confusion and frustration for all surrounding drivers on the road when it occurs. Here’s Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa FSD taking on the worst Dutch car city: Hilversum. Had 2 semi interventions: didn’t disengage but had to make it go manually: 1. Nav was pointing straight but the car chose a right-only lane, forced a lane change indicator and gas and it readjusted 2. Roundabout w split lane failed: was supposed to go straight but hugged a right only lane, used gas manually and it readjusted 3. Small issue: It parked perfectly into a tight space but didn’t fully go into the stall It also seems to ignore the “I have right of way” when it comes to bicycles that have a clear yield sign. This makes sense for safety. I’m biased because I’ve been driving FSD for 7 years in the US. For people who have this as their first experience - minds will be blown. This is absolutely next level and all European car brands will suddenly realize how far behind they are. The future is autonomous and I can’t wait until this rolls out EU wide.

When Elon Musk and Tesla let me, and millions of other owners, add our own cars to the Tesla Robotaxi network via a software update, it’s going to be the greatest wealth CREATION in human history. I get it. For the first time ever, a Tesla will become an $ income producing asset bc your Tesla will be able to drive itself while you’re sleeping, working, or even on vacation. This is NOT a sci-fi idea anymore. Elon has been clear for years. The hardware is already in the cars and the thing that will unlock this is going to be software. Here’s a simple version of how it’s going to work imo: 1/ A software update turns your Tesla into a robotaxi 2/ You opt in with one tap in the Tesla app 3/ Your car gives rides when you’re not using it 4/ Tesla takes a cut, you keep the rest 5/ You can pull your car out anytime, you have full control Think Airbnb, but for cars. Now on the $ generation side, this is where it can get a bit wild. Elon has said a high use robotaxi could generate ~$30,000 per year per car, and even more in busy cities. That means, 1/ A car payment pays for itself 2/ A car can become your own business 3/ And for some people, this can allow them to become financially free Elon even said robotaxi earnings should far exceed monthly car payments... this will completely flip how we think about owning a vehicle. A lot of long time Tesla investors call this the “greatest wealth transfer in history”… Elon corrected that and said something important: “Not transfer of wealth, CREATION of wealth. The pie gets much bigger.” And I believe he’s right. Autonomy makes transportation cheaper, safer, and available 24/7. This saves time, reduces accidents, lowers costs for everyone, and unlocks $ trillions of dollars in new economic value that NEVER existed before. Elon has also said: “The day FSD (w/ this Robotaxi feature) goes to wide release will be one of the biggest asset value increases in history.” That will be the day when cars are viewed as an appreciating asset instead of a depreciating asset! The scale is hard to wrap my head around tbh bc: • There are already millions of Teslas on the road • Even a small % opt-in rate creates massive fleets overnight, Waymo is screwed imo with their peanut sized 2,500 fleet • No new factories are needed • No new drivers needed Just pure AI software. Bro… this moment is going to be REALLY big. This could be the first time in human history where regular people like you and me get access to automation and making $ at scale, instead of only the big players and corporations. And when this switch flips, the way we view a car, specifically a Tesla will never look the same again. (FYI, once Elon and Tesla give me the green light, I plan on buying ~25 Teslas outright and put them into the Robotaxi network to show the world exactly what I mean)

FSD Supervised in Europe: First video of our experiences yesterday when driving with a Tesla that used FSD Supervised. Driving in Tilburg, The Netherlands. In this video you see that the Tesla takes a left turn into a narrow street. Very typical streetsize in The Netherlands and many other European countries. There’s a delivery truck standing on the road in a not so convenient way. I am extremely impressed that the Tesla decided to pass it but also how it did it. In these specific situations you so feel that the car looks all around (360 view) all the time and drives based on all that input. Tesla’s FSD has become really good at day-to-day driving, and it’s now performing like a human in very complex scenarios. Here’s video from last Friday, during afternoon rush hour. There’s a broken down pickup truck in the middle of the three open lanes in the Ville-Marie tunnel. Lights indicate that lane is closed. My car is in the leftmost lane, which suddenly also comes to a standstill, after police show up and an officer exits his vehicle and stops traffic. When it appears that the left lane will not start moving again, FSD moves my car two lanes over the right. 🤯 It then curves around a pothole in that lane, following how the car ahead handled it. 🤯 Honestly if it wasn’t for how bad Montreal roads are with potholes, I would hardly be driving myself at all.

As requested, here is the footage. FSD 14.1.4 was taking a right out of a parking lot. There was a mail truck in the closest lane and FSD attempted to take a really wide turn around the truck and go into the far lane, but there was a minivan clearly coming in that lane. I wasn't sure which lane it was trying to get in. When it started going in front of the minivan I took over. The minivan was paying attention and braked, honked their horn, and went around me as I pulled out of their lane. I found it weird because 14 is usually way too cautious at intersections.

This footage is a footage that admin has never released before but would like to show it. In this video, I see a kind soul who loves his fans. This is a longer footage after P'Zee made his way through the crowd and security to get to a poster that he wanted to sign. The previous video was posted during NYC COS Fashion week 2025. Even when the fans crowd around him with enough space to move around, P'Zee kept wanting to sign his fans' posters and banners. In the video, you can see the staff trying to tell P'Zee that it was time to go but P'Zee was so invested in greeting us that he kept interacting with us. Even when his security guard was guiding him to go back to the entrance, P'Zee walked backwards with a smile. His hand on his heart, telling us goodbye. Admin notice photographers in awe with the way P'Zee was interacting with his fans. Saw photos and videos being taken of our interaction In the end, P'Zee even made sure to tell someone to be careful with the incoming car since we were next to a street. Admin knows that the sky has been dark upon him and his fans. With this video admin wants to let a ray of sunshine through the dark clouds to show you the kindness P'Zee carries in him. The love he has for the ones who support him everywhere and the kindness he shows to those around him♡ #ZeePruk ~Z ♡

One of the complaints some FSD testers in China made is that the system is too cautious and courteous. In order to navigate through chaotic traffic, most Chinese drivers are assertive when they’re in multilane roundabouts, narrow streets and intersections where everybody forces his or her way out. Yielding to others may get you stuck in traffic. That kind of behavior is socially acceptable and nobody criticizes it. In this clip, you will find the Tesla with FSD on waited too long for the gap to turn right into a neighborhood because there was endless traffic flow of mopeds from the bike lane on the right. During the whole wait time, however, 3 other vehicles successfully made right turn by negotiating with moped operators. Will video clips like this feed into “bad behavior” of FSD after training? Each country is different and FSD needs to adapt as the old saying goes when in Rome do as the Romans do. A recurring frustration with FSD 14.3.3 It still doesn’t remember previous behavior on roads I drive every day. In both of these clips, the car unnecessarily jumps into the left lane (Hurry mode) despite clear reasons not to: • Video 1: The lane is ending and blocked by construction barrels. • Video 2: The left lane is becoming a left-turn only. In both cases, it had to force its way back into the right lane with traffic all around. Definitely not ideal.

Safety is the #1 priority in every Tesla design. Even when I take off my seatbelt during the Robotaxi ride, the car alarms me that it’s off and needs to be on AND Tesla support immediately calls in to let me know it needs to be on during the ride.

Took 3 Tesla Robotaxi rides tonight around Austin. Rides were perfectly fine and did great!! Only critique I have is that it dropped us off like a block away each time. When we went to dinner we had to walk a block over. I’m not sure maybe I should have reached out to support, but when it picked us up from dinner it picked us up in front of the restaurant. So not sure if the drop off was a little ways away in an attempt to avoid congested areas.
