This man who is a landscaper said you should never build a tree coffin around a tree. He said it ends up making the tree die by restricting the roots and having too much mulch. I never knew they were called "tree coffins". I looked it up and it does say they can be very detrimental to your tree if not done correctly. The pavers can restrict root growth and the mulch shouldn't be too thick or torching the base of the tree. I have seen some pretty nice "tree coffins". I never knew they were bad for your trees. Do you have these around your trees? Did you build one a certain way that allows your tree to flourish? What about the people who cemented their pavers together and in the ground?

Seonghwa shares a poem from an ATINY’s letter that inspired him to write his own poem for ATINY and explains its meaning. 🐰 A fan once wrote me a letter, and in that letter they included a poem. I think I may have shared the poem that really moved me. The title is “The Tree That Polishes Stars”, a poem by Gong Gwang-gyu. 🐰 (shy) It’s a bit funny. Some people might think I’m being dramatic, but since there are people who like things like this, I’ll read it. This isn’t my poem. It’s by Gong Gwang-gyu. 🐰 The title is “The Tree That Polishes Stars.”: Couldn’t a ginkgo tree be called a tree that polishes stars? A tree that, through rain, wind, and sunlight, diligently polished the stars. A golden tree dusted with stardust in autumn. I, too, want to become a tree that polishes stars - polishing the star that is you, until I turn beautifully golden because of you. Couldn’t someone like me be called a tree that polishes stars? Me, who wishes to fall beautifully for the star that is you. 🐰 It’s cheesy (but in a cute way). Anyway, it’s a very romantic poem. It was in a letter a fan gave me. That person said they thought of me when they read the poem, so they wrote it in their letter to me. When I read it, my heart felt a little tender and aching. In those moments, I imagine myself as a tree. As its leaves change, it reminds me that time is still passing. And there are trees that stay in the same place for hundreds of years, right? So even if you leave and come back someday, whenever you need a place to return to, I’ll always be there in that same place. I remember when Charlotte said this: "she always seems to be able to embrace me. she is very warm, like a big tree for me. she protects me in every way and takes care of me. i like warm people, and she is warm" Engfa really is her big tree: solid, protective, and always there when it counts. when it actually matters, when things get heavy... Engfa stands there. strong. firm. unmoving. that's what a big tree is. … and it really hit me today, after Big's live and the things he said. I could cry, because Charlotte felt it from the very beginning. She always knew. And it's not just her, the people around her, the ones who truly love and protect her, they feel it too. 🥹😭

I planted this tree for my friend 20 years ago….Look at it NOW. My friend in Pokhara saved up enough money to buy some land 22 years ago. I helped him design the place, and when it was finished ….I planted a tree as a blessing. (which I do a lot, my whole life). Now…..that tree is big. That’s how it’s done, simple action. “A small deed is better than a great thought.”

Today, I joined the community in Gasabo District, Rutunga Sector, Kigabiro Cell, Rukerereza Village for Umuganda. Together, we gathered in recognition of World Water Day, International Day of Forests, and World Meteorological Day important moments that remind us how much we depend on nature every single day. One of the main activities was tree planting. As I placed a young tree into the soil, It reminded me that every tree we plant is a promise to protect our land, to preserve our water, and to leave something better for the next generation. Planting trees should not be seen as a one-day ! It is something each of us should take part in, wherever we are. Because when we plant a tree, we are growing hope, protecting life, and investing in our future. #Umuganda #PlantATree

Trump: There will be no hydrogen. They tend to blow up and once they blow up you are not recognizable anymore. No, they say that's the hottest new thing. Hydrogen does. Anybody in the, they say it's so hot. The problem is when it's not, when it's not hot, it's bad. It's bad. So, I don't want to do that. They say for the most part here is for the most part it's really wonderful. But when it goes bad it's over, you're not recognizable. They call the wife. Please come and inspect to see whether or not this is your husband. He's lying against a tree and the tree has a lot of red on it... Is that ok for everybody?

This family went out of town for vacation. When they got back they noticed the neighbor had cut down some branches from their tree that were hanging over to their side. No discussion, no contact, they felt like they waited until they were gone to trim the tree. Many people said that if it is on their side hanging over they have every right to cut those branches. A lot of people brought up “Tree Law” and suggested she had a case. 🤔 Looks like there are more branches that hang over as well. We have many trees in my neighborhood and many of us share trees that give us shade and hang over each other’s property. Apparently there is a whole section dedicated to laws that govern trees between neighbors. 🤯 Have you ever heard of “Tree Law”? What would you do if you were the neighbor? If you were the owner and had come back and noticed your tree limbs cut?

While mowing the lawn around a tree, this days-old fawn I didn't see jumped up and fled when I got too close. It could barely walk, let alone run, and it stopped on the side of a road out in the open sun and laid down. That's not a very safe place for a fawn. So I carried it to a nearby tree away from the road with good cover at the base, in a spot where all the adult deer pass by so it should see it's mom when she returns. This thing is so darn cute it hurts.

Giuseppe Penone created It Will Continue to Grow Except at That Point by casting his hand around the trunk of a young tree and then leaving it alone. Over time, the tree grew freely in every direction except where the hand once pressed, preserving a single, permanent indentation. Nothing was cut or reshaped by force—the work emerged through time, growth, and restraint. Long after the hand disappeared, its trace remained in the living wood, a quiet record of how even brief human contact can leave a lasting mark on nature.

These two were working in the barn in Appalachia when they hear a strange noise. It startles them and they decide to take a break. The person filming becomes fixated on a tree that seems so out of place. It is in a U shape, almost like a slingshot. The birds are still chirping so I think they were ok. But if you keep hearing a noise as if it followed you, would it be time to call it a day?

When someone decides to go full blown into this kind of tattoo style it becomes a full time job. This man has had between 10-14 redos on the same area to achieve full saturation. I’m not sure about the tree in his nose but I know the bodywork take a lot of dedication. Is it too much or should everyone just be allowed to express themselves as they wish.

NEW: Arab Dearborn Heights businessman Sam Hussein and a local tree farmer team up to cover the cost of a $10,000 Christmas tree, which now stands in front of city hall. The men decided to take action after the yearly tradition was almost ruined. The tree order, which was placed by the previous administration, had delays and was not going to make it in time for a tree lighting ceremony this week. That is when Huff's Tree Farm and Hussein teamed up to help. "I thought it was the right thing to do given the circumstances. They had a tree-lighting ceremony set up for this Friday and they were really on a time crunch and this is our way of giving back," Hussein said. "I feel a good sense of pride being able to help the community, help our tree farm and kind of bring people together during this special time of year," Huff said.

When I complain about how much bullshit the Youtube Demonetization system is, this is what I'm talking about. Removing a single space can get your video demonetized or remonetized. Here I am messing with it in real time. Gotta love it when youtube then turns around and tells me I should better familiarize myself with their monetization guidelines.

Lots of updates on my drone war sim @ 🌲 Switched to sprite-based trees because 1000s of 3d trees is really heavy, now it's just a Nano Banana tree -> remove bg -> and then rotated 8 times to make a tree, it can even make a forest now without slowing down everything! 🚗 Added lots of moving vehicle enemies now, they shoot at you too and drive around the map 🛣️ Added roads 🏚️ You can use buildings now as cover, so you can fly in them and then shoot from there at enemies, buildings are rendered mostly in Cursor then made into 3d with Tripo (both sponsors of #vibejam) 📢 Drone and gun sounds are only hearable at your spawn point because that's where you are as a drone operator, when you fly further away the sounds go away and the radio signal noise gets worse
