Prioritizing the civil defense and ambulance team during the famine is to enable them in saving lives. The Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) x Sameer Project gave food to their team in the North daily and to the surrounding tents in Al Samer neighborhood in Gaza City. We recently found a kitchen running and serving potatoes and eggplants with tahini so we immediately purchased the whole amount, donate: We were so happy to find a meal with carbs and veggies to serve. The Sameer Project x Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine) ) team provided 8 pots to the Chalets Camp in Gaza City in Northern Gaza. You either pay to evacuate South, as ordered by the occupation, or you stay in the North and starve to death or get killed by the occupation’s bombs. This is the impossible choice families face. We are purchasing tents in the South at $1,100 each to give shelter to the forceful displaced. But there is too much of a need. We don’t have enough funds. Please help these families. On February 7th, Translating Falasteen (@translatingpa ) x The Sameer Project team distributed 675 of those sandwiches to Falasteen Shelter Center, Rimal. Help: The total cost with 11% commission was $1,261. So each sandwich costs around $1.85. Chicken and goods are coming in through the border but less than a quarter of the needed amount. When coordinating with kitchens we discuss the importance of adding spices for flavor and any vegetables available with the rice we provide. People deserve not just nutrients but also taste and joy, support: On the 26th of July, The Sameer Project x Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) team distributed 300 meals of rice in Al Katiba camp in the universities area, in Al Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City. Each meal weighs 800 grams and costs $18.25 with 10% commission so the distribution cost around $5,475. These extremely high prices are because the goods are scarce. The amounts of rice we distribute depend on the availablity each day but your donations allow us to maximize distributions by buying everything we find. The Sameer Project is getting daily calls from camps and areas asking for water trucks. With heavy hearts we had to lower water supply from 300,000 liters to 200,000 liters due to lack of funds! Donate: The only difference between the “ceasefire” and before it is the intensity of bombing decreased. Otherwise barely any aid is getting in, donations dropped drastically and many areas get NO water at all. The Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine) ) x Sameer Project team wants to go back to 300,000 liters a day across the Strip or distribute even more if possible. For that we need a large injection of donations so we rely on you and this community to do that. Hospital support across the strip is a priority to the Sameer Project, support here: As we all saw today Nasser hospital was bombed targeting medical staff, patients, journalists and civil defense workers. The military occupation continues to break international law with no impunity. On August 9th, the Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) x Sameer Project team distributed 450 meals of pastries to the patients and staff in Al Helou hospital in Gaza City. Each meal included 6 pieces with the following stuffing: cheese, salsa, potatoes, chocolate, thyme and daqqa (Palestinian spices). Hospital support across the strip is a priority to the Sameer Project, support here: As we all saw today Nasser hospital was bombed targeting medical staff, patients, journalists and civil defense workers. The military occupation continues to break international law with no impunity. On August 9th, the Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) x Sameer Project team distributed 450 meals of pastries to the patients and staff in Al Helou hospital in Gaza City. Each meal included 6 pieces with the following stuffing: cheese, salsa, potatoes, chocolate, thyme and daqqa (Palestinian spices). There is no flour, there is no food. People are trying to make do with worm infested flour, sifting it to get rid of the bugs, but they can’t rid it of the rancid smell.
