Prioritizing the civil defense and ambulance team during the famine is to enable them in saving lives. The Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) x Sameer Project gave food to their team in the North daily and to the surrounding tents in Al Samer neighborhood in Gaza City. Beit Lahia is in North Gaza, and Tal Al Dahab (hill of gold) is an area near the yellow line where almost no aid reaches. This is exactly why The Sameer Project goes and supports such areas! We recently found a kitchen running and serving potatoes and eggplants with tahini so we immediately purchased the whole amount, donate: We were so happy to find a meal with carbs and veggies to serve. You either pay to evacuate South, as ordered by the occupation, or you stay in the North and starve to death or get killed by the occupation’s bombs. This is the impossible choice families face. On February 7th, Translating Falasteen (@translatingpa ) x The Sameer Project team distributed 675 of those sandwiches to Falasteen Shelter Center, Rimal. Help: The total cost with 11% commission was $1,261. So each sandwich costs around $1.85. Chicken and goods are coming in through the border but less than a quarter of the needed amount. People deserve not just nutrients but also taste and joy, support: On the 26th of July, The Sameer Project x Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) team distributed 300 meals of rice in Al Katiba camp in the universities area, in Al Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City. Each meal weighs 800 grams and costs $18.25 with 10% commission so the distribution cost around $5,475. These extremely high prices are because the goods are scarce. Otherwise barely any aid is getting in, donations dropped drastically and many areas get NO water at all. For that we need a large injection of donations so we rely on you and this community to do that. Hospital support across the strip is a priority to the Sameer Project, support here: As we all saw today Nasser hospital was bombed targeting medical staff, patients, journalists and civil defense workers. The military occupation continues to break international law with no impunity. On August 9th, the Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) x Sameer Project team distributed 450 meals of pastries to the patients and staff in Al Helou hospital in Gaza City. Each meal included 6 pieces with the following stuffing: cheese, salsa, potatoes, chocolate, thyme and daqqa (Palestinian spices). Hospital support across the strip is a priority to the Sameer Project, support here: As we all saw today Nasser hospital was bombed targeting medical staff, patients, journalists and civil defense workers. The military occupation continues to break international law with no impunity. On August 9th, the Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) x Sameer Project team distributed 450 meals of pastries to the patients and staff in Al Helou hospital in Gaza City. Each meal included 6 pieces with the following stuffing: cheese, salsa, potatoes, chocolate, thyme and daqqa (Palestinian spices).
