$TSLA 🇰🇷 BREAKING : I just experienced FSD (Supervised) for the first time in Korea. The vehicle is Model X and the FSD version is *V14.1.4. We have yet to see any official cases of V14 being applied outside of the United States and Canada. I've just completed my first FSD run for about an hour. (I've experienced about 10,000km of FSD in the U.S.) Except for the parking lot, there was never a case where I intervened during the FSD drive. The first impression of the FSD that works in Korea is that it is very amazing and a great achievement of the Tesla AI team. Although there was one case where I went off the road without following the navigation, the FSD thought to itself and drove on the right path. The overall experience in Korea was very good, such as turning left, turning right, U turn, joining lanes, and changing lanes. It's kind of like... an American driver driving in Korea on an international driver's license. If more data is generated in the future and the number of users increases, higher achievement of FSD in Korea is very much expected. I can't wait for more people to experience FSD in Korea! Forget UPL, it's the Devin's simple right hand turn that FSD needs to master first. I am blown away that software as good as FSD can make mistakes as simple but devastating as this. This is the second time in less than two weeks that FSD has tried to pull infront of a vehicle on a VERY SIMPLE right hand turn. The car drove pretty much flawlessly all day today (3~ hours of driving) but it ends the day with a move like this and it just takes all the confidence I have with FSD away in a simple move. I understand that the version of FSD we have today is not what will be used in Austin in June, but the fact that FSD is making decisions like this and 'full autonomy' is less than 3 months away - it's a bit concerning to me. This may be the most complex traffic scenario I have tested in a long time. This is a highlight clip of a very heavy traffic unprotected left turn into a center turn lane. I almost gave up on ego on this one, but it came through in the end, executed perfectly. This was on FSD Supervised v14.1.2 this morning on my First Impressions drive. Lots more to come Tesla AI

This may be the longest reverse I have seen Tesla FSD do for me. I was dropping a passenger off at a "local motel", all the way in the back where there is a big fence separating the motel from an industrial junkyard and no easy way to get back out. Tesla FSD v14.2.2 did an amazingly long reverse, all the way through the front gate and then turn around to get on our way to the next passenger. Every day there seems to be something new from Tesla FSD that I see while doing Uber in Houston that just amazes me.

While taking my wife to work this morning Tesla FSD 14.3.2 decided to take us off the navigation and on a 3-minute detour of the Woodlands. But then as soon as my wife was saying something about the navigation snafu, FSD showed her what is truly important, as it avoided a car in the opposite lane of traffic coming into our lane while being a jackass trying to go around a school bus full of kids. My wife may not have been pleased with the 3-minute detour, but then Tesla FSD said "put some 'spec on my name woman!"

Here you so clearly see that FSD does not need any lines etc on the street, even when its very unclear where to drive it finds its way so easily. It gives such a safe feeling... One of the simplest things for humans, but incredibly complex for machines, is anticipating the unpredictability of children. Here FSD rolls up in direct sun, spots the kid way before I did, and applies the brakes. But what came after stunned me. Another bike, and another, then a gap, and another bike (and a bonus scooter). At no time did FSD attempt to jump the gap between the children (even when it could have). There was no jitter or indecision. FSD just patiently waited until they all came around the corner and crossed the street. It stayed perfectly still so as not to scare the children. Just like a human would. I’ve seen a lot of amazing things with FSD, but this one really impressed me on a deeper level. As a father, I’m happy knowing more people are using Tesla FSD to keep their own kids safe and to ensure the safety of the kids on the road.

Did a lot of V14 highway testing today. Major, major improvements. Follow distance is way more comfortable and dynamic based on speeds. The car always gets to the left when it can as cars merge onto the highway. Way faster reactions to speed changes and way sooner. There was a broken down car blocking the right lane, and FSD shifted left before I even noticed it. I hated how closely V13 followed cars in fast moving, dense traffic. I also hated that I’d see traffic pattern changes ahead before the car seemed to notice. All of these anxiety triggers are completely gone now. Highway driving has been magic so far. Here’s a clip of FSD safely and flawlessly handling the shortest merge lane of all time.

He's probably the one person who's done the deepest public dives on Tesla FSD and Tesla AI over the years. In fact, over the past 4 years I've published 40+ videos (!) with James Douma on Tesla AI/FSD (they are all on a playlist on my YouTube channel). I first discovered James Douma a long time ago (maybe almost 8-10 years ago?) on a web forum called . Back then it was one of the only places for early Tesla owners and TSLA investors to discuss issues deeply. While I posted about investing topics, James posted about Tesla Autopilot and its hardware but in a way that was more thorough than anybody else. When I started posting YouTube videos years later, I invited him on my channel to hear his thoughts on Tesla Autopilot/FSD. It was a riveting discussion and I was surprised at how much I could learn from him. I invited him again for another interview on my channel, and once again I was floored by how much I was learning. So over the years, James has been a great resource for me (and many others) to keep pulse on what Tesla is doing with FSD and AI (and even robotics). He doesn't have his own YouTube channel. In this video you see that the Tesla takes a left turn into a narrow street. Very typical streetsize in The Netherlands and many other European countries. There’s a delivery truck standing on the road in a not so convenient way. I am extremely impressed that the Tesla decided to pass it but also how it did it. In these specific situations you so feel that the car looks all around (360 view) all the time and drives based on all that input. 🇺🇸 Tesla has published new safety data for FSD Supervised, and the methodology is worth a look as much as the numbers. FSD has now covered over 12.6 billion miles, with nearly 4.9 billion of those driven in cities, where the hazards are densest. With FSD engaged, Tesla reports 7 times fewer major collisions, 7 times fewer minor collisions, and 5 times fewer off-highway collisions. What makes that interesting is how strictly the company counts against itself. If FSD was active at any point in the 5 seconds before a crash, it goes down as an FSD collision. That includes cases where the driver grabbed the wheel back or the system handed control over right before impact. Tesla also assigns no fault at all. If another car runs a red light and hits a Tesla on FSD, it still counts against FSD. Collisions are defined by federal standard rather than company preference, using airbag deployment for major crashes and a velocity change of 8 km/h within 150 milliseconds for minor ones. The data pipeline behind it is enormous. In one quarter alone, Tesla pulled 2.5 billion telemetry packages from the fleet. Most safety claims in this industry rest on a company's word.
