Tesla FSD V14 Lite (HW3) drives me to my destination with zero interventions for over 2 hours. It handled busy traffic, country roads, pulling over for emergency vehicles, etc. This was the longest drive I've ever done with V14 Lite, and it exceeded my expectations. It is incredible for road trips. Millions of HW3 vehicles are about to come alive.

As an early access FSD tester since 2022, I’ve had the honor to test Tesla’s v14 Lite for HW3 over the past 2 days. Overall, my experience has been very positive. It’s a refreshing experience to have the car move in reverse and take off immediately from parking spots. The destination parking options are really great to explore, and I love the quick reaction times. It’s hard to believe that my 2019 Model 3 is still getting software updates that are allowing it to do brand new things. Completely unheard of in the automotive business. I’m really looking forward to these upcoming Tesla FSD updates: • FSD V14 “Lite” for HW3 owners: Can’t wait to try it, even as a daily HW4 user. It’s expected to release at the end of this month and include the same features as HW4 V14. • Pothole Avoidance: This will be very welcome, especially for Teslas with lower-profile tires. It will be a game changer for me. • FSD Remembering Your Parking Preferences: Elon Musk says future FSD releases will remember your parking preferences when arriving at a destination. Great for garages, work spots, etc. • Grok Voice Commands for FSD: Elon Musk says the ability to prompt FSD with language is coming within ~3 months. You’ll be able to use your voice to tell the car what to do or where to go. This will be incredibly cool. CANT WAIT.

Elon Musk on upgrading FSD hardware for customers who bought FSD on HW3 vehicles during today’s Q1 2026 Earnings Call: “Unfortunately, HW3, I wish it were otherwise, but HW3 simply does not have the capability to achieve Unsupervised FSD. We did think at one point it would have that, but relative to HW4 — it has only 1/8th the memory bandwidth of HW4, and memory bandwidth is one of the key elements needed for Unsupervised FSD, and it's just generally a thing that's needed for Al. If you're doing an order aggressive transformer, memory bandwidth is the choke point. For customers that have bought FSD, what we're offering is essentially a discounted trade-in for cars that have Al4 hardware, and we'll also be offering the ability to upgrade the car to replace the computer — you also need to replace the cameras, unfortunately, to go to HW4. To do this efficiently, we're going to have to set up micro-factories or small factories in major metropolitan areas in order to do it efficiently. I do think over time, it’s going to make sense for us to convert ALL HW3 cars to HW4 because that’s what enables them to enter the Robotaxi fleet and have Unsupervised FSD.”

I was totally WRONG about HW3. 😔 Sorry guys. 🙏 HW3 won’t be getting v13. The writing has been on the wall for HW3’s future since September 2024. But this delay with v12.6 is different. Something else is going on. And I think I know EXACTLY what’s happening. 👇👇👇 TL;DR - Tesla finally convinced Elon that they need to abandon HW3. They are working on a game plan and an official announcement while working on the last & final version of FSD for HW3.

$TSLA 🇰🇷 [I hope the wide release of FSD V14 Lite will begin in Korea soon!] Yesterday I installed the second update of FSD V14 Lite (version 2026.20.7.5), and I drove with it this morning. The FSD V14 Lite that is currently running in Korea is overall excellent. This version newly added features like: • Ability to disable the brake confirm • FSD statistics (also viewable in the app) • FSD Streaks These make it much more intuitive to feel that my Tesla truly has “autonomy.” With just one touch, it takes me from point A to point B. There are still occasional moments where I need to intervene, but most of the time it drives very smoothly and stably. It’s truly amazing that a car from 4, 5, or even 7 years ago can gain new intelligence simply through software updates. I’ve driven more than 3,500km with V14 Lite.. sometimes it still feels like a dream. Tesla’s autonomy is that captivating. Here’s another example of how well FSD V14 Lite works in Korea. I even uploaded it to my YouTube channel: I drove my Model 3 from Seoul to Busan(415 km) with zero interventions. I also went back and forth between Seoul and Jeonju, from Jeonju to Daejeon, and from Daejeon to Geumwang — and in most of those trips, I didn’t need to intervene at all. In Korea, Model 3/Y(Fremont-built) owners generally have a very high level of understanding of Tesla and a strong passion for new technologies like FSD. Many of us, including myself, would make excellent testers, and we would safely and enjoyably experience autonomy. FSD V14 Lite still has some areas for improvement in Korea — such as bus lane recognition, speed camera recognition, and more conservative highway driving — but we are now confident that this software is good enough for us to fully accept and enjoy it. Thank you for creating such an amazing piece of software. The efforts of the Tesla AI team are truly remarkable. I hope this great build will be a big help to HW3 owners. FSD slams on the brakes for a cat in the road that doesn’t even exist. This is FSD 12.6.4 on HW3, which is a lot more sensitive to shadows & objects in the road with the 2026.8.6 update. There are many reports of brake stabbing. It brings me back to the days when I was testing with v10.3 of FSD back in 2021. It’s interesting that it’s the same FSD version as before, and not something like 12.6.4.1, but I guess Tesla can change the weights without changing the version. And they’ve likely been doing this for a while with 12.6.4. 😒

FSD V14.1.7 Takes me downtown to see a show with the push of a button. It's absolutely incredible what a Tesla is capable of on V14. This is a ~50 minute drive and it ends in an underground parking garage and it was 100% handled by FSD, all I did was press a button.

Many in the Tesla community swore up and down that the sun wasn’t an issue on HW4 cars and the problem was only on HW3 cars. I went LIVE here on 𝕏 in a Model Y Juniper with HW4 and demonstrated how the sun can be a problem and the Red Hands of Death will activate instructing the human to take over immediately. Now people are admitting the sun can be a problem but only after I’ve proven it LIVE. This has happened with other FSD issues in the past. I prove them wrong and all of a sudden they admit it’s an issue after denying it for months. Please stop with the dishonesty in the Tesla community!

$TSLA 🇰🇷 BREAKING : I just experienced FSD (Supervised) for the first time in Korea. The vehicle is Model X and the FSD version is *V14.1.4. We have yet to see any official cases of V14 being applied outside of the United States and Canada. I've just completed my first FSD run for about an hour. (I've experienced about 10,000km of FSD in the U.S.) Except for the parking lot, there was never a case where I intervened during the FSD drive. The first impression of the FSD that works in Korea is that it is very amazing and a great achievement of the Tesla AI team. Although there was one case where I went off the road without following the navigation, the FSD thought to itself and drove on the right path. The overall experience in Korea was very good, such as turning left, turning right, U turn, joining lanes, and changing lanes. It's kind of like... an American driver driving in Korea on an international driver's license. If more data is generated in the future and the number of users increases, higher achievement of FSD in Korea is very much expected. I can't wait for more people to experience FSD in Korea! (Tesla Korea is a HW4 vehicle that purchased FSD and will update the FSD (Supervised) in the future for vehicles suitable for VIN number 5or7.

FSD 14.3.6 Is no good 😞 Parking, Navigation, and here is a critical intervention someone sent me. This was in DC where FSD didn’t read the sign that the carpool lane was closed and didn’t get out of the way or didn’t see the gates. He attempted 3 times and every time same mistake.
