A lot is being said about Tesla FSD. This video shows something different. FSD is set to a maximum speed of 130 km/h. The recognized speed limit is 120 km/h. When I press the accelerator, I can temporarily exceed that speed. But the moment I release the pedal, FSD smoothly returns to 120 km/h. In other words, Tesla does not continue speeding on its own. And let’s not forget the most important fact: The driver remains responsible for the vehicle at all times. FSD slams on the brakes for a cat in the road that doesn’t even exist. This is FSD 12.6.4 on HW3, which is a lot more sensitive to shadows & objects in the road with the 2026.8.6 update. There are many reports of brake stabbing. It brings me back to the days when I was testing with v10.3 of FSD back in 2021. It’s interesting that it’s the same FSD version as before, and not something like 12.6.4.1, but I guess Tesla can change the weights without changing the version. And they’ve likely been doing this for a while with 12.6.4. 😒

$TSLA 🇰🇷 BREAKING : I just experienced FSD (Supervised) for the first time in Korea. The vehicle is Model X and the FSD version is *V14.1.4. We have yet to see any official cases of V14 being applied outside of the United States and Canada. I've just completed my first FSD run for about an hour. (I've experienced about 10,000km of FSD in the U.S.) Except for the parking lot, there was never a case where I intervened during the FSD drive. The first impression of the FSD that works in Korea is that it is very amazing and a great achievement of the Tesla AI team. Although there was one case where I went off the road without following the navigation, the FSD thought to itself and drove on the right path. The overall experience in Korea was very good, such as turning left, turning right, U turn, joining lanes, and changing lanes. It's kind of like... an American driver driving in Korea on an international driver's license. If more data is generated in the future and the number of users increases, higher achievement of FSD in Korea is very much expected. I can't wait for more people to experience FSD in Korea! (Tesla Korea is a HW4 vehicle that purchased FSD and will update the FSD (Supervised) in the future for vehicles suitable for VIN number 5or7.

In 2024 at the Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting, Warren Buffett got asked, “Assuming Elon delivers on his fully autonomous driving goal. Elon said, if you’ve got at scale, a statistically significant amount of data that shows conclusively that the autonomous car has half the accident rate of a human driven car, I think that’s difficult to ignore. Assuming Elon succeeds in reducing accidents by 50% vs human drivers, wouldn’t auto insurance rates fall to reflect the reduced underwriting risks, thereby adversely impacting Geico’s revenues and float and perhaps margins, too?” His main response was, “Well, let’s just take the extreme example. Let’s say there are only going to be 3 accidents in the U.S. next year for some crazy reason… anything that reduces accidents is going to reduce costs… If accidents get reduced 50%, it’s going to be good for society and it’s going to be bad for insurance companies’ volume… but good for society is what we’re looking for.” I’ve followed Tesla closely for years and now the proof is impossible to ignore. Profiting from insurance is built on risk and FSD is systematically removing it. FSD has now crossed the data threshold that insurers can’t ignore. By 2026, Tesla FSD has logged over 10B+ real world miles from real human behavior, real streets, real weather, real chaos, and it’s materially more data than ANY company in the world has today. Tesla’s own safety reports show it clearly: • Human driven U.S. average: ~1M miles per accident • Tesla Autopilot: ~4.5M miles per accident • Tesla FSD engaged: ~7.5M miles per accident That’s a 7.5x safety improvement over human driving! If the risk is 7.5x lower, and your premiums you’re charging customers don’t change, something is wrong. Insurance pricing is supposed to reflect this risk. This is why today’s Lemonade announcement is a wake up call to insurance providers. When Lemonade announced it’s offering a 50% insurance discount when FSD is steering, they’re reacting to Tesla FSD data. Fewer crashes results in fewer payouts, period. This is what adaptive insurance looks like and thus why Tesla & Lemonade insurance has an advantage. They are adapting to real FSD data and real time risk, and adjusting the prices. All while traditional insurance companies are still using broad historical averages, falling behind and losing customers. Companies like GEICO, State Farm, and Allstate were built for a world where humans are driving, risk is random, and prices update slowly. I believe this era of insurance is ending. Even Warren admitted it in this video, saying cutting accidents in half is great for society, but BAD for insurance volume. Bc less risk means lower premiums and lower premiums mean less float and less float is the core of traditional insurance profits! If FSD adoption hits even 50% of Tesla’s fleet, I bet accident rates could drop 30-50% industry wide. That alone puts massive pressure on a ~$300B U.S. auto insurance market today. This is also why I believe Tesla insurance has a MAJOR advantage. Your premium is solely based on data. It uses real time vehicle telemetry, scores you based on actual driving behavior, and rewards your FSD usage directly and right away. In places like California, Tesla Insurance premiums for FSD users are already 20-30% cheaper than competitors. In some cases, safe drivers see up to 60% discounts. And in Texas, claims for FSD users are 40% lower than non-FSD drivers. The long term outcome is becoming obvious to me. Insurance companies that DO NOT adapt prices dynamically, use real time data, and recognize FSD’s safety advantage will most likely lose their best customers to companies that do. For Tesla owners, this is great news bc safer driving, esp using FSD will result in cheaper insurance, but for legacy insurers, this is an existential moment. You either adapt or risk getting left behind.

Forget UPL, it's the Devin's simple right hand turn that FSD needs to master first. I am blown away that software as good as FSD can make mistakes as simple but devastating as this. This is the second time in less than two weeks that FSD has tried to pull infront of a vehicle on a VERY SIMPLE right hand turn. The car drove pretty much flawlessly all day today (3~ hours of driving) but it ends the day with a move like this and it just takes all the confidence I have with FSD away in a simple move. I understand that the version of FSD we have today is not what will be used in Austin in June, but the fact that FSD is making decisions like this and 'full autonomy' is less than 3 months away - it's a bit concerning to me. Today, CNBC released a new video with Consumer Reports comparing driver-assist systems. But there's a problem… in the video, they used Tesla's Autopilot, not Tesla's FSD (Supervised), and compared that to the top offerings in other automakers' cars. CNBC also claimed that Tesla lacked an effective driver monitoring camera, but Tesla does have one—so much so that some Tesla owners complain about its sensitivity. Camera based driver attention monitoring is less strict for Autopilot than it is for FSD (Supervised). Not once in the video did they test the latest version of Tesla's FSD. Consumer Reports says Ford and GM have the best driver assist systems. The Mercedes system they praise in the video is extremely limited and can only work on highways. Tesla's FSD (Supervised) will work on virtually any road in the US/Canada.

Since Tesla FSD Supervised got approved to use in Belgium so much footage has been published here on X. We cannot be anything but impressed. I will add one more to that list. This was our first testdrive with FSD Supervised in Belgium.🇧🇪 FSD avoided an crash with a Range Rover. It stopped instantly and saw the car before we saw it. The Range Rover was driving too fast and stopped last minute. The footage doesn’t show us exactly how it felt but believe me when I say Tesla_Calle and myself were deeply impressed. This week we will get a Tesla with FSD Supervised to use for a few days. Can’t wait to also start posting about it here! Yesterday, Tesla Inside and myself took a ride with FSD in Eindhoven! 🚗💨 I was super excited to finally experience it firsthand, I’ve been waiting for it for so long.. The most impressive moment? FSD spotted a car parked halfway on the road. The car checked the blind spot just like a human driver, waited for a safe gap, and maneuvered around it smoothly. Zero stress, pure intelligence! 🤖 It was also very cool to feel how the Tesla reacted to a pedestrian still further away that was going to cross the street, and also check out how the Tesla reacted to bikers that were crossing the street. Amazing! A huge thank you to Elon Musk and the Tesla team for letting us make this start in the Netherlands. 🇳🇱 Now let’s hope the rest of Europe follows soon, because this is the future of road safety! 🌍⚡️ Enjoy the video! #Tesla #FSD #Eindhoven #Innovation #EV TeslaEurope

We're having a massive moment with Tesla's FSD progress right now, yet so few people have any idea that it's even happening. • FSD 12 was a huge step change forward • 1.8 million Teslas got a free 30 day FSD trial • Tesla's fleet is now doing 1 billion FSD miles every 2-3 months (vs 1 billion every 3 years) • FSD (Supervised) v12.4 will get rid of the steering wheel nag (coming in 1-2 weeks) • Tesla is finally no longer compute constrained, allowing them to improve FSD MUCH quicker. The company's compute capacity will increase at least 6x this year. • Preliminary approval to launch FSD (Supervised) in China. • Swedish Transport Administration Advisor praises Tesla's FSD "smoothness and natural driving" after being given a test ride on German roads 2 weeks ago. Uber/Tesla FSD Chronicles -- Took some very nice folks from their hotel in the northeast Houston suburbs all the way into downtown Houston (30 miles) for an event at a downtown hotel rooftop bar. I pushed the blue button in front of their hotel lobby, and the entire drive was on FSD 13.2.8, with FSD pulling up to the curb and parking at the front door of the downtown rooftop bar. Zero interventions, including the first and final 5 feet. It was really fun talking to the nice folks about the Tesla, the FSD technology, and a bunch of other things. And really cool to let them experience vehicle autonomy for the first times in their lives. They all pulled out their phones and started live streaming the drive to their family and friends. One of the nice ladies in the back was a bit reluctant at first about the entire concept of vehicle autonomy, but she ultimately gave thought that Tesla FSD was really neat after getting to experience it herself. And she may have possibly given me the funniest review of Tesla FSD at the very end 😂

🚨🚨🚨 Trigger Warning: There is a lot of FUD thrown at me in this Tesla FSD/Uber video about Tesla and Tesla FSD. I attempted to swat all of it away, and believe I did so, but I'm sure I will get comments about how I should have said this or that. So let me say ahead of time, thank you so much for your amazingly helpful comment😂 ------------------------------------------------------------ Tesla FSD 14.1.4 Ubers a Prius owner for his first experience in a Tesla and with FSD. This guy started out the drive throwing a ton of FUD at me for the first 4-5 minutes, but the funniest part of the video is the 2nd half of it, where you can literally hear the cognitive dissonance about FSD that has been comfortably planted in his head, not have any clue where to go when confronted with the reality of what he is experiencing right then, first hand. And just FYI, don't go too hard on this guy, he gave me a great rating and a nice tip. He seemed like a good dude, he's just been given bad data, and now he's got better data, the kind he experienced himself versus reading stuff online.
