After the Austin robotaxi rollout, I still don't see the value in the supervised miles. Tesla drove every Austin street for 8 months before the robotaxi launch, one year later, still no large fully autonomous fleet. I don't think the value is what we think it is.

This data is proof that full self driving vehicles are much safer than vehicles controlled by humans. Media can help by educating the public, instead of scaring them off.

I’m doing my part to get these numbers up. Over 72K miles under FSD since June 2024. Here are the V14 numbers… The longest streak would be WAY longer if I could teach it how to park in my driveway. @elonmusk @aelluswamy Any idea when I can do that???

12b miles matters, but rare intervention clips train more than smooth highway miles

Maybe an overlooked addition to the FSD fleet is Boomers for whom FSD opens up travel again. No longer daunting: visiting grand kids in another town, city traffic, long trips. Get your parents to try FSD and they will thank you. Mine did. They’re even looking to Turo MY’s.
