Global warming? There is a clear global warming especially in the last 45 years, with 2023-2024 being the warmest years on satellite records. However, the current global temperature is not warm. It is only ~1.2°C higher than in 1850, one of the coldest years in the last 10,000 years. And the current climate is one of the coldest of the last 485 million years. Global warming is primarily driven by natural cycles. Humans are not the control factor. There is no man-made climate crisis. This is my usual compendium with automatic audio using a text-to-audio AI application. It still needs to improve, but it's already quite acceptable!

For years, scientists have theorized about the dangers of the so called greenhouse effect, the warming of the Earth's atmosphere due to the burning of coal and oil. And in recent months, as David Culhane reports, research has uncovered facts to support that theory. Many scientists claim that the temperature of the atmosphere has been rising over the past 100 years, that the great sheets of pack ice in Antarctica are melting at a much more rapid rate than previously. Finally, that the sea level has been rising with increasing swiftness over the past 40 years. Scientists blame the odorless, colorless carbon dioxide gas for these potentially dangerous changes around the planet. It is the greenhouse effect. The gas allows sunlight to filter down and warm the Earth, but like the glass of a greenhouse, the carbon dioxide tends to trap heat so that it cannot rise into space. The scientists maintain that the coal, oil, and gas we've been burning for a 100 years have produced more and more carbon dioxide and helped overheat the Earth. Now some political leaders endorse the demands for more C02 monitoring stations like this one in Hawaii, and they share the anger of the scientists at Reagan administration budget cuts at a time when they feel closer to getting definitive answers. Blackout is a lying dishonest scoundrel. We have over a 125 years of rainfall data for west of the Great Dividing Range (the Murray Darling Basin) and the data is clear, there is NO climate change trend in rainfall. There is NO increase in natural disasters - it’s a land out droughts and flooding rains, as it has always been. And to lie to farmers, to imply that your policies of "taking action on climate" will reduce droughts or floods is utterly contemptible.
