We rebuilt our chat renderer from scratch for faster load times and smooth scrolling, even in the longest sessions. Long chats open 55% faster and INP is down 36%.

We introduced a compact view which condenses the sessions in your sidebar, highlighting only the most important information.

For more space on your screen, you can hide the sidebar — it peeks out when you hover your cursor at the left edge of the screen.

Devin sessions can spin up other managed subagents to orchestrate complex workflows. These child sessions have their own VMs, and can kick off their own subagents. Now, you can easily manage these nested agents from your sidebar.

We also improved our ⌘K menu, so now you can control Devin from your keyboard. Find, start, and pin sessions, navigate the app, and more.

Eighty percent less loading lag is the kind of facelift I care about. Pretty pixels are nice, but waiting less is the feature.

80% less loading lag helps, but ⌘k needs previews before destructive actions

Dev tools would rather virtualise their chat renderer than allow their bots to do DMs in MS Teams so it can do actual work. We love Devin, you were years early, but you're missing the chance to clean up in enterprise with strong a Microsoft experience.

80% less loading lag is the kind of number worth pinning down: measured on which view, against which build, and is it a median or a p95? Perceived speed wins or losses usually live in the tail.

Spending engineering time on load lag for an agent product says something. If you have to babysit a long run, the interface is the product as much as the model is. Come on my podcast and talk about it?

Amazing news. Devin is awesome, but the web app was its weak spot for some time - excited for this new version
