To better protect them, our government has introduced the Safe Social Media Act, which will make social media services and AI chatbot services safer for children. The bill, if passed, would require social media services and AI chatbot services to identify, mitigate, and address risks of harm on their platforms, and to develop services that are safe by design and put the safety of children first. Through advanced surveillance and analytical monitoring, we will now track unusual activities and patterns within hospital premises. If individuals are found loitering without purpose or cause, they will be promptly identified and dealt with according to the law. To further ensure safety & security of Healthcare Professionals & Patients and to streamline Hospital Operations, we are introducing a new Badge System, so that People can clearly be identified and segregated as per their their purpose in the vicinity. By segregating the crowd, we will easily distinguish those who have no business being on Hospital premises. I have personally visited several Hospitals and witnessed the dedicated service of our Doctors, Nurses and Health Workers. They deserve a safe, secure and professional environment. We are committed to provide that. This is a significant shift toward a safer, technology-driven and patient-centric Healthcare system for the people of West Bengal.

The Launch of the Performance Tracker has dazed the NDC and they have now resorted to needless rants and photoshopping images that are actually fake and not in the tracker. This is one of the most progressive accountability tools any government has ever introduced. And it’s a state asset that needs to be protected, enhanced and ensure its sustainability beyond now. Every Ghanaian everywhere and in every corner is being accounted to and this accountability has no end. It’s work in progress which is updated by the minute, hour and by the day. Simply pick your phone, hit the web or open the app and search for your district or community. This tool has killed one of the biggest propaganda the NDC kept peddling for years “NPP should show us one thing, they have done with our money”. Today, we have shown you over 13,000 things and still counting. By the time the tracker is done updated, we should be hitting close to 20,000 “things”. In doing that, we decided to account to everyone and not just the elite citizens and the 1st class neighborhoods. So the Airports for the 1st class citizens are being accounted for, the Asphalts for the plush neighbourhoods are being accounted for, the big hospitals are accounted for and similarly, the ChPs compounds, the boreholes and the KVIPs for the rural and small village folks are being accounted for. Every Ghanaian every where deserves accountability and that is our commitment as a government. Talk of transparency, talk of accountability, talk of working with the people, this is one example and we need to be proud of ourselves as a people and country for how far with have come. I saw this video, and I felt for this woman. To go through a case and court trauma for 13 years, not being able to work or travel, and be declared not guilty after that is ruinous. As a lawyer, I think many people are being ruined by the justice system, starting with a poor police investigation, the decision to be charged, and being convicted or released. We may have an opinion about a particular person or case, but we are not necessarily right. She felt it, and she knows it. Our justice system literally ruined her and many others.
