Our students shouldn't be terrified of just walking into their schools. HB836 makes it clear that no child will be denied a free public education because of citizenship status. Public schools exist to educate our children, not to police our families. Schools should be safe places where kids can focus on learning, growing, and building their futures, not places where families fear deportation. Together we are guaranteeing every child in Virginia the right to an education. 📚

We have brought accountability to our higher education system, fought the woke, and returned the focus to the classic mission of universities. Republicans in the Florida House are trying to roll back this progress, give a lifeline to the political left, and pave the way for the re-wokification of Florida's higher education system. HB 1321 should be nicknamed the "Make Universities Woke Again" Act because it would remove the accountability that is required to prevent our colleges and universities from reverting to a focus on indoctrination.

This week I had the privilege to walk the picket lines with them and listen to their stories. These education workers do so much for our children, often dealing with some of our most complex students in our classrooms. The UCP is failing our educators, parents, and children by not paying these workers a fair wage. They deserve better. Alberta deserves better.
