And now, if New Yorkers want a leader like the governor that we have, who can look at that cruelty and name it for what it is, then they know that the choice is Governor Hochul. I just try to build things and then there happens to be stock of the company that I built, but I don't have like a portfolio or anything; Google is gonna be pretty valuable in the future. I have been seeing many photos of people handing out relief packages, and while this was necessary in the early days, I am concerned about how it affects the dignity of our people. I do not want Jamaica to be portrayed as a place where citizens are scrambling for food or fighting over packages. That is not who we are. We are an independent, proud people, even in times of hardship. If we are giving support, we must do it respectfully and quietly, protecting the dignity of those in distress. And those receiving help must also remember their dignity. This is why I announced that we will be transitioning away from handing out food packages. The system has become too politicized, who got, who didn’t get, and who was invited to distribute. That is not acceptable, and it is not the Jamaica we want to build. So we will move to a voucher or coupon system that allows people to purchase what they need directly, without stigma, without politics, and with their dignity intact.

Ben Meiselas delivers an important message to those who have standing to sue over Trump's ballroom: So let me just send this message to anybody who has the standing to sue—to the law firms that are out there, to the state attorney generals: go and seek an injunction to block this construction. The argument that you should make is that Donald Trump engaged in fraud in saying that he alone was going to pay for it, and that it wasn’t going to impact in any way the existing structure. The emergency basis for your injunction is the photograph that we showed—that they just damaged the actual White House and are destroying the East Wing, which is a violation. Get a court to enjoin or block further construction until such time as there’s discovery in a transparent way. Who is funding this thing? Make the order, demand discovery, and then address the issues of the illegality—that it is a violation of Article I of the Constitution. That’s the argument you need to make. Go and make it. Do what I just said, and do it because it’s the patriotic thing to do, and it’s the right thing to do, because laws are being violated right now by Trump as a result of this destruction of the White House.
