@ElectraAero @PennDOTNews @NewJerseyDOT Interesting part is the destination. Slotting a slower short-field aircraft into a Class B arrival stream tuned for a narrow speed band is a sequencing problem, not an airworthiness one — the piece that needs writing down before the hundredth one flies.

Joby Aviation is flying its eVTOL in Texas today … Joby just posted this: “The state of Texas officially kicks off its first White House-backed eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP) flights today” Joby is “carrying out a week-long flight campaign across the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The Joby eVTOL aircraft will fly real-world routes across North Texas, including direct flights into Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and major urban hubs.” Joby is the only eVTOL actually flying at the event today.
