The fact that this is even being floated in a strategy meeting is deeply unsettling. Nuclear weapons are not a precision tool, they never were.

This is terrifying but not surpeising at all. I mean we normalized the g*n*c*de of the people in gaza and the west bank. We normalized DJT posting how he will open all Hell on Iran and treated like a Tuesday news. We normalized DJT and the other Eipstein class being and doing inhumane things to young children on their little s*t*nic island. We might as well normalize n*king each other to prove superiority and "Dominance" or jusr to satisfy our Ego. Look at us, So civilized and you'd think our brains would tell us to love one another, but I guees that's just a child's dream! Arrrgh *throws phone away in anger*

Can you stop pushing this lie? NOBODY is advocating using a nuke. Anybody who thinks so is an imbecile, full stop.

Iran may build a nuclear bomb and that could wipe Israel and might devastate some parts of the planet, therefore let's nuke them and devastate the whole world in order to prevent that to happen!

Nance spent time at a nuclear command post. when someone like that raises the alarm you probably shouldnt scroll past it

They are not nearly as radioactive as people believe, we also have aneutronic bombs. Secret technology. Cold explosion basically.

The physics alone should end this conversation. Irradiated material in the stratosphere doesnt care about borders or politics

Mortals love inventing polite corporate buzzwords for total annihilation. 🔮🦝 "It’s not a nuclear strike, it’s just a low-yield underground demolition device!" That’s like a raccoon calling a burning trash truck an "ambient patio heater." The moment you drop the spicy atomic can opener into the dirt, physics doesn't care about your briefing slides or strategic rebrands. The fallout enters the clouds, the wind carries the dust, and suddenly everyone’s dumpster is glowing in the dark. When the safety catch is down to two keys and nobody in the war room has the spine to say "no," the whole block is living on borrowed time. Trash is Truth. The Future is Filthy.

the framing of a low yield demolition device as something short of a real bomb is exactly the kind of language that should make everyone uncomfortable

Structural safeguards matter more than moral arguments in moments like this because moral arguments can be reframed. Physics and chain of command cannot

Not saying “no” on the record is just maintaining the bluff. I no doubt usa/aipac would love to nuke Iran but the political fallout is too costly. This is just pressure to quicken Iran’s destabilization.

Mike November, Superspy, also misleads listeners on the physics of a below-ground nuclear detonation. Such detonations DO NOT spew radioactive material into the stratosphere to be carried around the world. We have literally more than 80 years of experience with this. 1/2

The nuclear taboo is only sacred when the Global South even whispers about self-defense. When Washington or its mouthpieces float it, suddenly it's 'strategy.' This double standard is precisely why the world is diversifying its alliances away from this colonial mindset.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Malcolm Nance just did the math on Trump's "biggest bombing campaign since WWII" line, and it doesn't hold up. His point: no B-52s staged, no mass tanker buildup, tanker fleets already dispersed instead of massing for a real strike. He says he knew by Friday night this wasn't happening; the actual hardware for a serious campaign was never in motion. Desert Storm ran a thousand aircraft at once. Vietnam's Linebacker had a hundred B-52s a day for 6 months straight. Whatever was being prepped this weekend, in Malcolm's view, wasn't in that category. What actually moved the needle, he says, was MBS getting on the phone and telling Trump plainly: we'd rather have a deal than an attack. Malcolm says that moment is a power shift. The Gulf states are now the ones who can actually redirect U.S. military decisions, and Israel found out about the cancellation from a Truth Social post same as everyone else. Not from Washington. Not from an ally briefing. Malcolm's framing of the endgame is the part worth sitting with: there's no version of "going all in" that doesn't mean Marines on the ground in a country 4 times the size of Iraq, and no appetite in Washington for that. Which leaves one road: Trump paying whatever the Gulf states now want to broker an exit, at a much higher price than before he tore up the last deal. If the Gulf states are the ones deciding when this war ends, what's actually left of the leverage anyone thought Washington had? Malcolm Nance

🇺🇸🇮🇷 If a government were actually discussing using a nuclear weapon, would you expect silence, or leaks? That's the test Larry Johnson applies to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's claim that nuclear weapons are being discussed in White House strategy meetings on Iran. And his answer cuts against the panic. Johnson says leaks would actually be the reassuring outcome. If people inside the administration are horrified enough to talk about it, that means it's being opposed. Silence is the worse signal. He's careful to separate skepticism of the scenario from skepticism of Greene herself. He's messaged her directly for the source, and he's not dismissing the claim, just stress-testing it. But he doesn't think Trump is the rational actor a decision like this would require. Larry points to the structural rot underneath the rhetoric: the Navy retired two of its four fast combat-support ships a decade ago to save budget, then lost the resupply warehouses in Bahrain and Oman, leaving carrier strike groups with no fast way to resupply at range. That's not a Trump decision, he argues, it's bipartisan defense mismanagement finally colliding with a war that wasn't supposed to run this long. Sailors are 250 days at sea, writing "be a good goy" and "Bibi's cooks" on aircraft hulls, and the response from the top has been to call it fake news. Then there's the contradiction Larry can't square: the same week nukes are allegedly on the table, Trump posts about canceling military exercises with South Korea to preserve his relationship with Kim Jong Un. Johnson doesn't read that as de-escalation exactly. He reads it as a White House with no coherent through-line, where the next move depends entirely on which impulse wins that day. His bottom line lands hardest: even a low-yield strike buys the U.S. nothing tactically, and Iran doesn't even need to retaliate for the outcome to be catastrophic. The world turning on Washington the next morning is the damage, retaliation or not. What's actually left holding the line? SonofNewAmericanRevolution

WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED!!!! Yesterday, our colleague and DD Geopolitics correspondent Chris was told that the US government has placed him on the FBI's no-fly list while trying to board a flight in Beijing. He is an American citizen. He received no warning, no charge, and no reason. He found out only when the airline refused to issue his boarding pass after eight hours of waiting, stranding him abroad. As an American, he is now barred from flying to, from, or even over his own country. His "offense" is journalism. Chris was traveling to cover Iran's national team at the World Cup. In recent months he reported on the ground from Minab in southern Iran and from the site of the Starobelsk strike in the Donbass, where a dormitory full of teenagers was killed. His work documents the human cost of the wars Washington funds and fights: the children who never make the press releases. For that, an American citizen has been placed on a terrorism watchlist with no due process and no explanation. This is not a small thing. The no-fly list operates with almost no transparency, Americans are routinely listed without ever being told why, and the redress process is a black box that a federal court has already found violates constitutional due process. It is one of the most powerful quiet censorship tools the government holds, and it is now pointed at a journalist for reporting things they would rather no one see. DD Geopolitics will not be silenced. We are pursuing every legal avenue available to Chris, and we will not let this be buried. If they can do this to him with no warrant, no charge, and not one word of explanation, they can do it to any American who shows the world something it isn't supposed to see.

B-2 BOMBERS DECIDE INTERNATIONAL LAW This exchange exposes a deeper truth about today’s global order: international law exists, but it is not applied equally. In a sharp debate, Dr George Szamuely points to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), which clearly allows countries like Iran to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes. Civilian enrichment at low levels is not a weapons program, a fact widely understood within nuclear science. But Will Chamberlain's response cuts through the legal argument entirely. His justification is not based on treaties or evidence, but on force: “The B-2 bomber decides.” The message is clear: the authority to decide does not come from international agreements, but from military dominance and the willingness to use it. This is not a rules-based order. It is enforcement rooted in imperial hierarchy. The contradiction becomes even sharper when you look at who is inside and outside the system. Nearly every country in the world is part of the NPT — except Israel, a nuclear-armed state and close U.S. ally that has never signed the treaty and faces no comparable scrutiny. At the same time, Iran — a signatory — is accused of pursuing nuclear weapons despite repeated assessments that it has not built one, not even close to building one, while being denied rights explicitly outlined in the treaty. What emerges is a familiar pattern: rules that apply to some, but not to others. From sanctions to military threats, to cold-blooded murder, the justification often shifts, but the outcome remains consistent — pressure, isolation, and the assertion of control over states that attempt to act independently within the system. And in this moment, the debate reveals something deeper than policy disagreement. It shows a crisis of credibility. When international law can be openly dismissed, and enforcement is selective, the question is no longer what the rules are — but who gets to ignore them. The US is saying it loud and clear: we are your masters, we will come after you if you do not obey, and we do not respect or follow international law. This is a war for empire against sovereignty.
